Is this buffered? For instance many "chelated" forms will use traacs which is often buffered with oxide.

I contacted the manufacturer,Vitalitown, to get the answered and this is their response. "Vitalitown Magnesium Complex is not buffered. It's chelated with 4 amino acids and organic acids, glycine, malic acid, citric acid, and taurine. These magnesium chelates are highly absorbable and bioactive so that your body can better absorb them without any stomach upset. There's no magnesium oxide in our Magnesium Complex product."

I’m confused . i need 620 mg/day. i assumed when purchasing these i’d be getting 500mg per dose. am i really only getting 80.5 mg per capsule?

Each dose you will get 500mg which is in each capsule. 1 capsule is 1 dose. It says that there is 80.5mg of “elemental” magnesium. The rest of it is other kinds as shown in the ingredient list. If you need more take two capsules a day or two every other day.

tree nut free facility?

Not sure but the label states for purity and quality this product is Non-GMO, No wheat, gluten, dairy, corn, soy, eggs, tree-nuts, peanuts, fish, or shellfish. This does not necessarily means the facility does not process nuts it's just there aren't any nuts in this magnesium supplement.
