J&B XpandaHose 100ft Expandable Garden Hose, Lightweight, Brass Connectors

I have switched all my hoses to this brand, for ease of use and convenient storage during the off season. It comes with a lifetime warranty, is reasonably priced, lightweight, doesn't kink when I am hauling it around (unlike other long hoses that say they don't kink but do!), collapses into a small and manageable size after use. One that is 2 years old recently sprung a leak just below where it attaches to the hose bib. I contacted the company and they had another one on my doorstep in 48 hours.

We've purchased multiple hoses from this company. They're pricey but their lifetime warranty and customer service well make up for it. Love how lightweight they are, especially for those of us with back problems, and the shut-off valve is imperative if you work with sprinklers, weed killer or fertilizer hose attachments. Over the last year we had issues with 2 hoses, which I just contacted customer service about. After submitting a copy of our Amazon invoice, exact replacements, other than the color, were shipped out to us immediately, received within days. They gave me a heads up ahead of time that the color would be different so I knew what to expect. Other companies we've used replaced their expensive hoses with cheap imitations, even at shorter lengths and fewer features, such as shut-off valves. Shouldn't have even been considered a replacement... They were useless to us. Just had to express how impressed we are... they held up their word and their lifetime warranty... no tricks, no gimmicks. Should we ever need additional hoses, we wouldn't even consider another brand - J&B all the way!

I like a sturdy, old fashioned hose like I used as a kid. My wife likes the shrinking hoses, so we compromise and buy shrinking hoses. I have 2 houses - summer and winter - and have purchased many of them from different manufacturers. The lifespan of a typical shrinking hose for us, given my relatively rough style of hose management, is about a year. I have drawers full of nozzles. Last year it was time to replace a couple leaky hoses, so I went with J&B via Amazon. They claimed to offer a lifetime warranty. Thus, I figured, what the hell I'll buy 2 and see what happens. Sure enough one of them sprung a pinhole leak last week. This really was the best constructed hose of the many we'd purchased over the years, so I was disappointed. The other hose which gets double the use is fine, by the way. It's easy to like friends or praise companies when everything is going as planned. The way I judge personal relationships or company integrity is how they react when something unexpected happens or just goes wrong. People and companies of character step up and do the right thing. "Average" companies develop memory lapses. Lifetime guarantee? We'll see! I sent an email to the company. They responded the next day asking me to take a picture of the defective hose and provide an address where to ship the replacement. I did so the next day and within a few hours I had my response: A new hose is on the way to the address I'd provided. This is a first-class supplier who I can recommend without reservation. The ultimate certainty that the other brands still in use will fail means that my homes will soon be exclusively using J&B XpandaHoses. My wife is in love with the 50' ones we have. I'm delighted to have found such a dependable and trustworthy merchant.

I am elderly with mobility issues and gratefully used this dependable, lightweight hose for more than 3 years to care for my flowers and backyard critters. It developed a small leak at the beginning of this season (maybe caused by a chewing ground squirrel?) that didn't seem to affect its usefulness. Then several weeks ago, the hose burst at the location of the leak. I located the information with the lifetime warranty and sent an email to J&B XpandaHose asking for a hose replacement. I was delighted to receive a return email and soon had a brand new hose. I highly recommend both the product and their customer service!

Our house has 2 hose faucets but they aren’t strategically placed. We have one on the back but far to the end and a second faucet on the same end but on the side of the house. That means I need a minimum of 200’ of hose to reach my plants on the front of the house. That is a lot of rubber hose to unwind, maneuver around and then roll back onto the hose reel. I was sick of it. I decided to research expandable hoses. I went with J&B. It has a full, non-prorated, LIFETIME warranty. The reviews vouch for the ease of the warranty claim process and Amazon confirmed that should you need a claim, Amazon handles it. I bought and connected two 100’ hoses, attached to the faucet and attached the nozzle. They work great and they don’t leak at any of the connections. The outer fabric is showing wear because our concrete driveway and sidewalk are quite rough and it snags. But since it’s so light, I just raise it up and pull it towards me in one motion. It works great in the grass. I can easily water all my plants, flowers and bushes from the side of our house, all the way around the front. The included nozzle makes watering different plant varieties a breeze. The handle will lock into the on position which I appreciate because I have tremors. The hose has a brass cut off which is a great way to tamp down and regulate some water pressure. I have a few plants that I use the mist setting but I can make it even more gentle by slightly turning the brass knob. The hose NEVER kinks. When I’m finished, I turn off the water but leave the nozzle open so it continues to drain as I stow it. I bought a large planter, drilled a hole in the edge so the hose can stay connected to the faucet then I put on the “lid”. This keeps the hose out of direct sunlight and out of the way. My system holds all 200’ of hose which proves how small it gets when contracted. This hose is a great value and saves me time and back pain. I love it. Note: the water on the brick is from the top of the faucet, not the hose.

After daily use during warm seasons, this hose seemed stronger and better built than other expanding hoses I’ve owned. The weakest point in any expanding hose is the connector ends and tugging and pulling over time will strain that connection. I definitely got satisfactory service during its almost two year life, but one tug too many snapped the inner tubing at the sprayer end. To my delight, after contacting the company they said they’d send out a new one after sending a photo of the damage and my original order info. Within an hour I was notified that a new hose was on its way. Great support…. Great product ….im sure with less severe usage it would have lasted much longer.

So far so good. I have had these expandable hoses before and they don't kink but they do twist. I've only been using it for about 8 weeks and it seems to be holding up fine. Lots better than pulling around those old rubber hoses!

I like how light and how easy to maneuver/store this hose is. We had it for 16 months before it sprung a leak & the company was quick to stand by their lifetime guarantee. All I had to do was send them an email with a video of the leaking hose & a copy of my Amazon receipt - 2 days later a replacement showed up at my door. Love how responsive they were and love that they stood by their lifetime guarantee.

Very light weight. Easy to use. I’ve had many in the past that leak after a few months. Too early to tell but it does have a life time warranty.

Ultimately the best hose set up I’ve ever owned. Love the light weight making it easy to move around and the sprayer is perfect for the tasks
