FEL-PRO VS 50584 R Engine Valve Cover Gasket Set for Chevrolet Trailblazer

I use Fel-Pro gaskets all the time in my bmw motors. This one I used for my Chevy trailblazer ll8 atlas vortec. So, this is pretty awesome. In my opinion, better than what came from the factory. You get thick-beefy gaskets, and this comes with everything you need to do the valve cover. I spent a LOT of time on this project, and it just wouldn't make sense to cheap-out or cut corners at any step. You know how VC gaskets like to fall-out while you're trying to install it? NO ISSUE HERE! These all "snap in" to the grooves, including the spark plug hole gaskets. So once you get them snapped in fully, you can then flip over the valve cover to install and not have to worry about stuff DROPPING OUT as you're trying to put it on! (Looking at you, BMW). So yeah, I highly recommend. My only suggestion is to offer more colors than blue. I would've loved to do red, or Chevy "orange", or just a simple light grey to match the OEM bolt gaskets. Finally, no need for RTV to "hold in" the gasket, because of what I mentioned above how it snaps in. And I love how the pricing is REASONABLE! Great job Fel-Pro.

Affordable and fit PERFECTLY. Snapped into place and didn't fall out when the valved cover was flipped over. Zero issues with fit. I was so worried that the gaskets would be warped from shipping, but the project couldn't have gone better.

I have not had a chance to install tbis kit uet but the parts look high quality and no issues that I can see. Being a felpro product im sure its good.

The installation is very simple and quick. I will definitely order another one again if I ever need it. My Envoy now runs like new and without oil spills on the spark plugs

This gasket set, for my 2003 GMC Envoy, appears to be a perfect snug fit; it stays in place, with no issues of it falling out during the awkward task of putting the cover back on. UPS delivered, on time. It actually came with an extra piece for one of the ignition coil/spark plug spots. I still have to put everything else involved in this bitch of a job back together again, so at this time I can't offer my view on performance, but quality seems really good especially for the price!! If there is a negative issue with this product at a later date, I'll update this review with the details. If there's no update, then there is no issues = satisfy buy

Instalación sin problemas

The whole package is too long so it won't stay seated in the cover, aside from that tounge is too narrow for the grove so even if it did fit length wise it still falls out. I had to use some gasket maker to hold the seal in place to install valve cover
