Will this allow me to batch by value?  I want to be able to put a stack of 5s, 10s, and 20s, all together in it and it'll create a batch of $2000

Accepted Answer

Since this function only allows you to batch by quantity of bills, we would recommend to set the count mode to Mixed Denomination Count (CNT) and press the ADD button. Once you start the count, you will be able to see on display the Total value of the count. If the first count total value adds up to 1500$, under the ADD feature, you can add another stack of mix bills in the front loading Hopper and resume the count without resetting the result of the previous count. The ADD function works on aggregate basis but doesn't have an automated feature to stop counting when the total value reaches 2000$.

What does the count mode (cnt) do?

This mode is used to derive the quantity of notes counted (PCs). It works on all notes even for currencies that are not programmed on this machi¬ne. Under this mode, the machine works as a conventional note counter (note that all the detection functions are disabled in this mode). It’s also used in case the fitness condition of the notes is poor and not well recognized (rejected) in MDC mode. You can select 3 different counting speeds 800, 1000 and 1200 notes/min. In this mode, you can switch ON ADD or BATCH or ADD+BATCH functions

Does the machine sort the bills by Face or Orientation?

Yes - Press Sort button to select FACE or ORIENTATION.

The Face feature sort notes with the same side i.e. If you put a stack of bills, the system will detect the first bill side and send all the bills with the opposite side to the reject pocket

Under Orientation, it will sort notes with the same side and orientation i.e. if you place a stack of bills, the system will the detect the first bill (FACE UP) and send all the bills with the opposite side or Face down to the reject pocket.
