Not good quality
We 'thought' we were selling our 30 year old house, so went thru the whole house and yard to freshen it up for listing. We put these Probrico brand knobs throughout the house as they are very stylie and are low priced. Well, we did not sell or move and after 10 months the higher use knobs are getting very crunchy when turned, a couple of them so much so that I wonder if they will disintegrate to the point of seizing up. IF you are getting a house ready to sell or flip, they are OK (if your conscience is OK with knowingly installing garbage) . IF you are updating your house that you will live in for awhile, do NOT buy this junk. Do NOT buy these if you are fixing up a rental, you will just have to come back and install new ones. The quality of the metal inside feels like it is disintegrating by the month.

Returning...Wish I'd known they're backwards
I installed two before realizing the locking mechanism is backwards... when it is unlocked it should be horizontal and locked would be verifxla and it is backwards. We didn't think that would bother us but oh my word, it does... it is backwards and nothing we could do about it. I went back through comments more thoroughly and saw where a couple others mentioned this. They are also pretty loud like others mentioned but that part was bearable to us.. but we are returning them as I found others that are the correct way. Yes these were quite bit cheaper but I can't handle the backwards thing LOL along with the other negatives like how loud and such.

Great knobs for the price - with one issue!
We wanted to update the knobs in our home to better suit the theme of our house. First, these are great for the price. Only about $13 per knob for the 8 pack, and one knob anywhere else is easily double that. It comes with the strike plates as well which is nice! Install was extremely easy - I watched a quick YouTube tutorial since I’m a visual learner, and written instructions aren’t always easy for me to follow. I used a drill to install the strike plates and the part that the knob latches into, and a screw driver to attach both ends of the knob together. I had no issues with scratching as other reviews have stated - you just have to be careful. I can’t write on the longevity of these but so far they work great and look nice - feel better quality than the builder grade ones we had in our new build. Just one issue… the locking mechanism is BACKWARDS? (Vertical is unlocked, horizontal is locked) We don't mind because we rarely lock the doors in the house and never have people over, but I could see this being an issue for others or confusing for any guests we do have. Other than that, no complaints!

Half of them didn't work
I like the ones that worked but after I'd installed 4, I discovered the last two both had something wrong with them. One had stripped screws inside so that it can't be installed. Then within a few days, two of the knobs started giving us problems, refusing to turn or they are very hard to unlock, etc. I wouldn't recommend this set of multiples, but if bought 1 at a time (so you can return each one that has issues), it's a good knob.

So freaking loud to open!
These are nice looking but oh SO LOUD when trying to open a door in the middle of the night or early in the morning. You can hear all the internal components clicking and crunching as you open them. Wakes my wife up every time I would go to the bathroom or go out the door to the front room. Also one of the privacy knobs wouldn’t lock and had to throw it out. Appear to be cheaply made. Will need to replace these unfortunately and too late to return them. Would not buy again.

Looks good, functions okay.
These make a huge difference to our cheap doors, but there are definitely some downsides. I didn't realize the privacy knobs do not come with a key.. still trying to figure out what the "emergency release tool" is and why it is not included. I need to figure this out before my son is old enough to lock himself in somewhere! Aesthetically, I've always liked the lock to be horizontal when unlocked and vertical when locked, this is the opposite so that will take some getting used to. Most annoyingly, they seem to have a loud spring sound when opening and closing the knob which makes it difficult to stealthily enter or leave my infant's room. They will do for now, but I may want to replace them with better quality knobs sooner than later.

Poor quality
The media could not be loaded. I guess you get what you pay for.... I thankfully only needed 7 of the 10 pack I purchased, because 2 of them have had a terrible issue with grinding when turning the knob. Also, one of the strike plates stabbed my finger due to a sharp piece protruding from the screw opening on the back. I would not purchase these again.

Scratch easily
Pretty decent considering how much they cost vs the actual quality. Does have a lock but pretty pointless when I can unlock the opposite side with a coin or my fingernail. Be careful not to scratch when installing. They will scratch easily. Feel is not bad and will give you an updated look on your door. If your trying to save a little money, go for these. If you have a larger budget than mine, opt for a more high end brand or type.

Paint Starts to peel
I liked these knobs because they looked sleek and I didn’t mind that the installation was uncomfortable and some of the knobs come loose after a while. What I don’t like, is that not long after installation the paint was starting to peel. Really not impressed with the peeling paint.

Some chipping, and clicking noise
Some of the finish is chipped, used a black marker to touch up. Couple of these handles click when opening/closing, not sure why. Even tried reinstalling but still happens. Not sure how long they will hold up.

Black doorknobs
Just installed all of these and for now they work great. The only problem I have with them is the black scratches off the knob if you don’t tape around the handle when installing the screws.

Love the black
So happy with the end product. The black is definitely a statement! I agree with another review... wrap a cloth around the knob when screwing them together. The paint scuffs if the screwdriver rubs against it.

the perfect black but..
when you turn the handle after they are installed they sometimes get stuck (the bolt), and you have to jiggle the handle to make it pop back out to close the door properly. Great colour, great shape, but disappointed by the products ability to preform...
