Rectangular Heating Pad

Works perfectly. Heated according to the instructions on the package and it held a good amount of heat for 20+ minutes. Have not used it for cold yet. I’ll update the recommendation if it doesn’t stay chilled just as well. Love the flexibility and size. Great value.

I have had this thing for 8 years and am still using it. It melts away muscle pain; I use it for everything from menstrual cramps to back pain to massaging a charley horse, and it works like a charm every time. Unlike other products on the market, it's heavy and very full of whatever is in it, which makes for superior heat retention. 2 min 15 seconds in the microwave and this thing gets nice and HOT! I appreciate the no-frills design - I don't need a fleece cover or other gimmicks that get between me and my pain relief - and I like that there's an unscented option as I am prone to migraines.

I bought this specifically for use with my lower back, I had a muscle knotted up on my left side, and the previous pad of this type that I had was leaking its filling and needed to be discarded. I was thrilled that this came so quickly, but for my lower back, I found it to be a half-inch or so too thick, such that I couldn't lean back with the pad in my lumbar region; it made my back bend too much in the wrong direction. To use it, I had to keep myself upright and just push my back into it gently. Further, to get complete area coverage, I had to keep shifting the position of the heating pad. This has not been the case with other pads of this type that I have used, as they let me lean back into them and cover a greater area. I'm sure that this pad would be great for a shoulder or neck, or anywhere else where it could just lie stationary and do its magic, but I can't say it's any good for use with the lower back. I believe the company would be wise to make a pad specifically for the lower back (as so many of us have issues there) that is somewhat larger and slightly thinner so it can be leaned into easily (a painful back doesn't lean easily). I'm happy to have bought this from a small company, but for lower back issues, I wouldn't get another, nor can I recommend it.

This arrived so quickly!! I am impressed with the shortness of time it took to be delivered to me. I am also very impressed with the consumer info included with my pad. It is well done on quality paper cards with grammatically perfect instructions. I immediately put it in the microwave to warm it up and use it on my upper arm and shoulder area. It is so wonderful. I like the way I can "arrange" it to sit upon my shoulder while I am sitting here at my computer or watching TV. The soothing warmth is so comforting to me and exactly what I need. I especially like the freedom of being able to carry it wherever I go around the house. I have to admit that I am not crazy about the scent of heated rice when I use it, but I certainly won't take off a star because of that. I wish I would have ordered a scented one, but the scent of rice is barely noticeable anyway!!! Without the rice, the pad wouldn't be so easy to situate wherever I need it and stay put while it provides heat to my aching joints. This is a well made pad from right here in the USA by a dedicated manufacturer named Jane Roberts. It doesn't get better than that, in my opinion. I'm happy with my purchase because Nature Creation has a great product.

Best heating pad ever!! Got this in 2020 and it still holds up since the first day I bought it. It holds heat well and provides instant pain relief. I've tried other ones and this is still my favorite.

I guess this is what I bought, so I’m not sure how to rate it. It’s a soft cloth pouch filled with rice and flax seed. It’s got a bit of an off odor when you heat it, but otherwise it does what it’s supposed to. It’ll stay warm for a decent amount of time (20-30 minutes) and it’s comfortable. I didn’t realize it was rice-filled or I wouldn’t have purchased. If you read the entire description, the contents are listed at the bottom, so it was my mistake - I didn’t read far enough down. I use it in the home office and my wife commented that she thinks “it smells like one of the dogs peed in the office.” Not sure it quite smells that bad, but there’s a distinctive odor and it lingers in the office after I’m done with this. I’ll just stick to the plug-in pad and this one gets thrown into deep storage...

This product is such a help to my arthritic shoulders I use it just before bed and it helps considerably, well made and holds the heat, I can thoroughly recommend this product aaaand it got here within the time stated no hassle say no more.
