Great woodworking tool

Good product for the money, the hard case is nice and easy to keep organized. 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons: 1) There are 3 different sized clamps - small, medium and large in 2 different strengths. It is difficult to decipher which is the stronger and lighter strength piece. This is a good feature, but the 2 different strengths are not decipherable from one another. 2) The “C” shape of the clamp does not close all of the way like a Collins style clamp, and a gap remains while not under tension from the pliers. This is fine for thicker stock, but if you’re trying to miter thin stock or small moldings, you need to place the teeth too far back on the work piece to really close the whole miter up correctly. 3) The points on the clamps are very large and aggressive, plan on making up wood filler for the marring it leaves behind. 4) The smaller clamps take a little doing to seat on the pliers before opening them up to place on the work piece. Not a huge deal, just not as intuitive as it could be For me, I’ll stick with the Collins as my go to spring clamp, but these do have a place for larger pieces that would be filled and painted afterward. Good quality for the money.

Not bad for being a cheaper alternative. Work as they should. Use them when I’m trimming out houses for baseboard, door casings, etc.

Eine alte Methode, Eckverbindungen zu fixieren um diese präzise zu verleimen. Spezialzange hilft dabei, die Feder klemmen anzubringen und diese zu entfernen. Insbesondere bei Gehrungverbindungen, wo es darum geht die Spitze zu verleihen, zahlt sich diese Methode besonders aus. Selbstverständlich hinterlässt Klemme Spuren. Im Set gibt es mehrere Größen. Der Set wird in einem Koffer geliefert, wurde der Inhalt ergonomisch angeordnet ist. Ich halte die Verwendung von Federklemmen für eine elegante und einfache Methode. Vor allen Dingen platzsparend.

Different strengths? maybe, but I wish I had labelled them before my son open the box on the floor and my partner put everything back in the box.. top tip, bit of coloured tape as soon as you open the box !

I bought this because I wasn't quite willing to spend over £100 on the brand I already knew and loved, but now I think maybe I should have. The actual pins seem perfectly fine but I wouldn't know because the tension pliers are completely useless. They are too wide to even fit inside the pins before you can do anything with them, making them functionless. Very disappointed, would not have been too bothered if they just weren't as good quality, but a tool should at least be able to perform it's function and this just doesn't.
