Can this be used with a Harris 12kg butane gas bottle?

I use it with a 15 kg butane cylinder, so I imagine the 12 kg will be a little smaller and should fit inside with ease.

Do they have a warranty are the heater any good after a long time use

The heater will have a least a 12 month manufacturers warranty. This heater was bought to replace an approximately 40 year heater. Over the 40 years it was used on many occasions but not exclusively as a main form of heating a room. The cabinet of the replacement is made of a much thinner material, in fact there was a slight deformation on unpacking. I doubt if this will last anywhere near the time of the previous one. If used as a standby for intermittent use and treated with care should last a number of years. Ensure adequate ventilation is provided whilst using to avoid any problems with the products of gas combustion.
