I thought it was best to clean cast iron hot, but not with this brush. I'm going to contact the seller to see about a return. Maybe it was my fault for using it on a hot pan, but it got misshapen instantly. I've barely used the scraper or chainmail, but they seem all right. Update: Their customer service is fantastic. I was contacted on the weekend and taken care of in less than a day. If you don't use the brush on a hot pan, I'm sure this kit will be great bang for your buck.

Works very well. Great value compared to other cast iron cleaning brushes because you get all the extra accessories. The brush has a nice look to it and, so far, it seems durable.

Owning and maintaining cast iron pans is a lot of work. The kit makes clean up easy. Still a dirty job, but plans remain rust free, well seasoned and clean.

I purchased this kit for my cast iron. This cast iron was not preseasoned and been in my family for a few years. Having a good cleaning kit is very important. This kit works great!
