I'm thoroughly impressed with this light meter! From the moment I took it out of the box, I could tell this was a high-quality piece of equipment. The carrying case is absolutely fantastic - it's sturdy, well-padded, and has a sleek, professional look.But the real star of the show is the light meter itself. It's incredibly easy to operate, with an intuitive interface and clear, readable display. The buttons have a nice, tactile feel and the whole device just feels solid and well-constructed. Taking light readings is a breeze - it gives me accurate, reliable results every time.What I appreciate most is how user-friendly this light meter is. After reading substantially about taking measurements from LEDs versus sunlight, I was a bit intimidated by light meter. But this one has made the whole process simple and straightforward. The instructions are clear, and I was able to start using it right out of the box.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The combination of the excellent carrying case and the easy-to-use, make it a no brainier. It works outstanding. Very useful and well worth the money.

It's definitely a step up from the typical little light senors you can pick up (which only estimate the PAR value from LUX). However, it seems quick and accurate and provides a really handy form-factor for getting light reading from exactly where your plants are. The device is well built and comes with a very nice case. My only complaint is the value for the price; it's useful but in hindsight, it's a bit much for the typical home growing setup.

I was informed this was just as accurate as the pricey apogee meters by others who tested them side by side. I love the shorter coil cord it comes with, it makes it so easy to pick up and use and yet it comes with a longer cord if needed. I find that longer cords just get tangled and in the way but very handy to have on in case you do need it for something. It comes in a cute and convenient carrying case. No complaints about this meter. Just wish it could do what some other par meters can do, which is read red, blue and green light separately, also wish it was a little cheaper.

If you’re a hobbyist gardener and want to take it to the next level, PPFD is probably what you’re looking for.Although item isn’t cheap it still affordable on the long run if you grow indoors and spend on growing lights.A scientific tool anyone can use.

I can't be entirely sure that it reads all of the far red light spectrums but with my 700 watt full spectrum LED it seems to do a pretty good job.
