I'm going to tell you about the new Hollyland Mars 400S PRO HDMI and SDI Wireless Video Transmitters! So the Mars 400S Pro SDI & HDMI is fine, but what is it for? The Mars 400S Pro are intended to transmit video wirelessly from a camera or other video sources to a receiver (Screen, Atem Mini Pro, video projector, etc.) with a distance of up to 120 m and powered by a SONY NPF type battery and video resolution up to 1080p in 60 frames per second. So yes the Design is totally different from the other versions of the Hollyland wireless video transmitters. Like it or not, personally I like its shape and the fact that its center of gravity is lower thanks to the cold shoe placed below the transmitter for a faster and more stable installation in my opinion of course. After each one will form their opinion on it. In terms of construction, we feel a very solid and well finished product. Which is reassuring when you're a professional. At the transmitter level the color code used is red and blue for the receiver! Very practical when you are in the rush of an installation on a shoot or on a livestream. The screen on the front also allows you to quickly read the necessary information. I still find that a percentage indicator is missing from this screen. Even though I have noticed with “ATOMOS NP-F750 5200mAH” batteries a battery life of over 8 hours, which is more than enough for filming or live! On the box we find a USB-C port which can be used to charge boxes, but also with a usb-c to RJ45 adapter to be used as VIDEO STREAM! A very practical ON / OFF BUTTON but I would also have preferred a button with a long press to turn off or turn on the March 400s pro for more security. And of course the SDI and HDMI connector as well as the location of the battery and the two antennas. The practicality of having SDI on the box, for example in my case, I used the transmitter connected in SDI on the panasonic EVA-1 camera and the receiver connected in HDMI on the matem mini pro ISO. And you can use it inversely in both directions, that is to say connected the transmitter in HDMI and receive with the receiver in HDMI. I have had the product for a few weeks and have used it on a few LiveStreaming and filming. On the other hand, I highly recommend it for LiveStream, for example in my case I use 3 Mars 400S Pro + 1 Mars 300 Pro, and it matches up very well in terms of image delay. (About 5-6 Frames of latency) On the other hand, the good news is that the flow rate has been increased on this version, we go from 8 Mbps to 12 Mbps which is not negligible in terms of quality, especially when using Livestream. Eliminating cables running along the ground from video cameras to our switchers was a top priority in my church. It seemed like every service somebody would trip over a cable causing us to lose our video signal from a camera until reconnected. It is nice not having to run cables any longer. We have 3 of these and I think that is the most you can run together. Maybe 4. 3 is all my church needed though. They are extremely easy to set up, durable, and take less than 10 minutes to learn to use. Well worth the money.

Simply put, This device was flawless. I needed it for video transmission from two cameras in a different room about 10 feet from where in another room was the ATEM Extreme ISO video switcher. Plugged in the transmitters to the cameras, the receivers to the rear of the ATEM (HDMI inputs) and it found separate channels in the space of about 45 seconds and it worked flawlessly. I have two, and both were beautiful. The only thing I had a little bit of trouble with was the firmware update one required. Wasn't the easiest process because I couldn't get the Hollyland app to recognize the device that needed the firmware update.

This works really well, but please specify which batteries are supported. The answers to all of the questions say "standard NPF Sony batteries". So I bought Sony NPFZ100 BUT despite it having NPF in its model name, it does NOT fit. It is smaller than most other NPF batteries. Unfortunately for me, since I bought the batteries at Best Buy, I can't it since they don't accept returns on batteries. Another thing I noticed that if you are not supplying the unit without enough power (i.e. plugging it into a USB power bank that is too weak), you will hear the unit start to make a squeaking sound and it also may just shut off on its own. Other than that, this thing is really solid and is really just plug and play. I tested having the receiver inside the house and then walked outside at the backyard with the doors closed and there weren't any hiccups at all.

I bought this unit for my Amazon live stream so the Sony camera does't have to tethered to the desk. I've been using this unit for almost two months now and I'm super happy with its performance. The video quality is great and indistinguishable from wired HDMI. They do get warm thanks to the metal casing acting as a heat sink. I also appreciate the option to use RJ45 to do rtsp stream. Simply get a type-c to RJ45 port adapter, connect it to the receiver's type-c port, then use an Ethernet cable to connect it to the computer's ethernet port, set the OBS video source to be rtsp://192.168.218.25:5554 and I can enjoy capture-card-free stream to avoid further video compression loss! However there could be a few seconds delay when using this method. I power them using external 5v type-c power supply. Note that they don't support PD power supply. 5v only.

I was blown away by this wireless transmitter. It’s wireless performance is great, but I love the amount of options it has. For powering you can do batteries, USB-C, plugged in to wall, or even get a dtap adapter. Makes it amazing. I’m also using it for live streaming and the fact that you can use it with both. TX/RX while also streaming to an iPad/iPhone for extra monitoring is so nice. The device just allows you to customize so many things to fit your needs. I definitely think the best values kit out there. The estimated ranges have been spot on, and even solid indoor performance as well.

Build quality is great, very very sturdy build... A bit thicker than what it seems in photos. Still the smallest video transmitter I have worked with. Transmission range beats my Teradek Ace kit which I kinda guessed it would. I use drone FPV antennas to help with range as well. Video has a slight delay which is why I use it for a director's monitor and not a 1st AC/Focus puller kit. Video quality is really good though even though a few walls.

For the price these are amazing and has enabled freedom of movement in my live productions. The range is awesome, latency is not perfect but doable. The build quality is very good. I would buy more!

El uso de colores para diferenciar entre transmisor y receptor es también un plus que otros modelos no tienen. Hablando de su uso puedo decir que son muy fáciles de usar, sólo tiene que poner la batería y un cable hdmi o sdi y que simplemente se conectan entre sí, usted no tiene que mover nada (a menos que desee cambiar el canal). También tienen otras funciones como el modo silencioso de los ventiladores, que en modo normal son inperceptibles, en modo silencioso lo son aún más. Los he utilizado en cámaras como blackmagic cinema pocket 4k y 6k, panasonic s1 y sony a7siii y en ninguna de las cámaras me ha dado problemas. Finalmente he podido mejorar mi flujo de trabajo entre fotógrafo y fotógrafo, ahora puedo estar hasta 100 metros de distancia y estoy seguro de que la toma siempre estará enfocada.

For this price, this is the best TX/RX you can buy in 2021. The video compression is really good, the image quality looks pretty similar to direct HDMI or SDI output. For the range itself, it's always better to calculate that it's half as what they say for video transmitters, even Teradeks. But I can tell you I tried testing it 300ft away and it still worked. Important to note that if you really need to receive a drop frame signal (like 23.97 or 29.97) - this isn't for you. The TX can receive drop frames, but the RX will output 24p or 30p. Not a problem for how I'm using it, but it might be for others. Bonus points to the Hollyland customer service. They found me on facebook after my purchase for some reason, and started chatting with me, eventually sending me free accessories like their mushrooms antennas.

Great product, work's well, easy to use with battery or mains . You can use SDI & HDMI connection at the same time.
