I've bought so many size variations of this product
This is the highest quality rubber foam type product I've used. It is a neoprene/EPDM combination. I first discovered it bec it was one of the few offerings available in 1/16 in thickness (1.5 mm actually) and have expanded from there. Full technical specs are also available on Rubber Stuff's web site should you need it for your application. About the only area for improvement is that the adhesive backing becomes brittle after prolonged exposure to cold temperatures. It doesn't detach, but it makes clean removal very difficult. One tip though - Make sure you only buy from seller Rubber Stuff Limited. You will get the quality stuff from the UK. I once accidentally bought from a Joop food and got a much stiffer feeling product made in China.

Great stuff for many uses!
I bought this to line the top of the roof purlins on our greenhouse before laying down the multi-layered polycarbonate sheets for the roof. It really helped to keep them from sliding around before I could get a screw into them. Then I used some to line the top of my pickup truck bed rails to help waterproof my tonneau cover and keep it from shifting around as much. Then I used this to line the top of the canister filters for our big aquariums. I was constantly battling leaks from those canisters (both Fluval and Eheim) until I tried this stuff. So far it has sealed all of them perfectly and no more leaks! I plan to keep a roll of this stuff around all the time. My only complaint with it is that the paper lining on the adhesive side sometimes rips and separates in places as you are peeling it off, but that is a very minor inconvenience.

Vibration dampener
As others have commented the glue is pretty bad. For my application though the adhesive is basically irrelevant. The material is really more of a semi-hard vinyl feel than what you think of with rubber, but it is non-porous and nice and flat. Used it to insulate a fuel tank from the body sheet metal to keep pump whine out of the cabin.

Great tool for arthritis-friendly living.
I have found so many uses for this! Since arthritis has become prominent, I've wrapped all of my round doorknobs with this to make it easier to open. Strips of it strategically placed in my office and my kitchen keep me from dropping so many things.

Good initially but weak
This material will disintegrate fairly easily. I expect to have to replace it (I am using it on the bottom of doors to reduce drafts) every couple years or so.

But it's still a great rubber strip with a good adhesive strip on one ...
This was shipped from the UK and arrived only 2 days after the rest of my Amazon order. Crazy fast shipping for coming all the way from over seas. Now for the neoprene rubber strip itself. It's a little softer than I was expecting. But it's still a great rubber strip with a good adhesive strip on one side. I used it on the support bows of the truck's vinyl bedcover. The bedcover had stretched with age and was sagging and holding water. I added the strips to the top of the bows to increase the height of them. Worked great for what I needed it to do.

stretches nicely, looks terrific
Exactly what I needed to seal the rear plastic window on DH's MGB soft top. Adheres well, stretches nicely, looks terrific. Though Amazon said it would take a month to arrive when I ordered it, a company spokesperson, Dean, promised it would ship the next day and arrive within 10 days. It was delivered in 7! Great product, great product support.

Completely suited to the intended use.
The item was delivered ahead of the estimated time, and is well produced; the release backing is easily removed when it needs to be, the neoprene is soft and pliable and easily bent to the line required. The advantage of the self-adhesive is of course that no separate adhesive need be bought. The product is exactly what I required and I have already successfully applied it to a test area and am very happy with the purchase.

Unusual use for this tape
I have built a small scale model Tractor and tyres posed a problem, I used this foam tape to wind onto the metal rim building up the profile to the dimension required, , then cutting small pieces to form the tyre treads, the appearance at this point was crude which is why I used the next purchase, self amalgamating tape, to tightly bind the foam, being self amalgamating it grips itself when pulled tight, result quite good, I'm happy
