KONG Cozie Plush Dog Toy with Squeaker (Marvin the Moose, X Large)

This is a great Kong dog toy. Our labs love it. They learn how to bite the squeaky part and love it. We have 2 for them. Well worth the spend.

Moosie, as this toy is called in our household, has become THE favorite toy for Rambo ( our dog). We bought him for Christmas, yeah, I couldn't wait to see how he liked it or not. Rambo is about 5 years old and loves balls. large or small, he loves them. Squeaky toys, not so much. Still, Moosie was so cute, I had to get him. He LOVES his Moosie. I've seen him sleep with it, toss it all over, which is a new thing for him, and insists on taking him outside. It's not going to happen yet though. Still, he always try's to get outside with him. Now, holding up.. that is a whole different story. Based on how much surgery I've had to do to Moosie, you would think I wouldn't give a 5 star rating. When I bought him, I didn't and still don't expect a long life for Moosie. So far, he has lost both ears ( Antlers are fine), a tail and we had to do a leg amputation. One other leg suffered a stuffing loss tonight. We'll see how long till we have a 2 legged lopsided moose here. Two more weeks until Christmas. Will he make it? I doubt it. Still, Elephanty will be under the tree and I have a feeling, I'll be getting Moosie2 soon as well. So, why 5 stars? because RAMBO LOVES MOOSIE and it's so worth it. ******UPDATE ***** 3-29-2015 Well, Moosie managed to be taken outside and was enjoyed out there for quite awhile until the snow hit. He hasn't been seen since. Fortunately, Blue, and Elephanty ( as we call them) are surviving inside the house quite happily. In fact, we are waiting on our newest arrival, Floppy, who will be a fun addition to his family. Rambo has enjoyed all of them for 4 months now and they are his #2 favorite toys. Balls are number 1 and always will be with him. Still, It's fun to put the Kong toys up and see him go get one, toss it around, cuddle with it ect. I still give these a 5 star rating because Rambo Loves Them. ******UPDATE 2-11-17******* We lost our Rambo at Christmas. WE rescued a new dog a few weeks ago. Moosie is #1 with him as well. My daughter even has a Moosie for her beagle. This has to be my fave stuffed Kong toy of all

My Bosties absolutely love their toys. Abby looks after her fluffy toys so she deserves the best. She has the Elephant and Kuala Bear (since she was a pup - she is now five - the soft toys still look brand new) so Marvin the Moose makes a great addition. He is a perfect size for our medium built girls. The girls fight over him - but because Marvin is made so well and so tough, he withstands the tug of wars. We love Kong - they last and are not made with all the rubbish you find in some of the dog toys. Definitely fun for the dogs. High playability - they are at it all day and the toys never break. Squeaker is a great addition. Weight is light for the dogs and there is no smell.

**Update: Moose is such a hit, we have 3 of them now. He loves Moose more than most of his other toys. We even got a few other cozy kongs, but nope, just Moose. He knows it by name. Loves to toss it around or just sit there gnawing at it. Moose was so great, we got lamb. But lamb has a bit of long fur on it's tail and neck. This was instantly recognized by our diligent little dog as abnormal, thus needing immediate removal. So we had to take lamby away until she gets a haircut. ** Our new older dog is not a chewer (we are so lucky.) He is very reluctant to put anything in his mouth. We have bought those rubber kongs (he just licks them a few times to humor us) and rope toys (he'll chew for a second but then tries to teeth on the edges like he is flossing with it.) We got one of this brand (with rope in it as a skeleton) at the store when he was having a stressful day (groomer did not dry him completely and he is a very fluffy dog) and he got a little of his anger out on it. It looks like he is tossing it around and tearing it apart, but this is just a facade. He actually was unstitching the cute patches that were sewn onto that bear. Nothing else is altered, though most of it is soaked. How does he do this? I do not know, but he seems to use his little tiny teeth ever so delicately. At first he was frightened by the squeak toy inside, but now this gets him motivated to work to find and squeak it on his own. This seamstress dog of ours needed to not go around unstitching things, so we tried this. Well, this moose is ever so delicately groomed by the dog. He does not chew it, but proceeds to comb out all the "fur" with his teeny teeth. Moose is soaked and well combed out upon inspection. Granted he does like the bear more than the moose most of the time, as the bear has threads to undo, moose does end up a (sopping wet) well-groomed moose rather frequently. It's great that he will actually use this moose. He just got two of his little teeth taken out as they were fractured, but I expect when he is allowed to eat hard things and use toys again, he will work around the fact that some of his teeth are missing to play with this toy. Based on the moose being a normal looking stuffed animal, I would think that a dog that chews at all would have it disassembled in a short time.

My boyfriend and I are picking up our new puppy in May, so I've been researching around Amazon for the best dog toys. I will update this review when we actually have our puppy and I can accurately review how she is with it. However, I wanted to point out something I noticed as soon as I got it out of the box. I knew this was a squeaky toy, so when I first got it, I automatically squeezed around the middle of the toy to see what it sounded like. To my surprise, it did not squeak or make any noise after squeezing it multiple times. It wasn't until I handed it to my brother that he noticed the squeaker was located near the rear end, right side of the moose (exactly where the Kong Cozie tag is.) This was a little annoying to me as I knew that the puppy would have to hold it a certain way for the toy to squeak since it's not in the middle of the toy where it will get bitten/chewed most often. After a little shifting though, I was able to move the squeaker to the middle part of the toy to where it will squeak more often when the puppy holds it in her mouth (presumably.) As I said, I will update this review when I see my puppy actually playing with it. I just thought this was something to point out to others this might have happened to, or are planning on buying the toy. The squeaker is movable, with a little work :) Update: So I have a 6 week old Australian Shepherd and she really loves this toy so far. I got the medium size and she really enjoys chewing on the moose's antlers and arms and legs. I like to tug on it with her and squeaking it at the same time and she loves it!! It's showing no signs of wear yet, but I'll update again as she grows. Update: almost a month later, and this moose is still going strong!! We tug and tug on it all day long. It has become her favorite toy. I've also put it in the washer about 3 times now (due to accidents in our crate) and it is holding up so well!!! If it happens to fall apart anytime, I will definitely buy another one. Update: my puppy is now six months and this moose is still her favorite! Although, we may have had one tiny accident. We have tugged and tugged on this moose so much that one of his arms came clean off!! The stitching on these toys are genius. There was no open hole for stuffing to fall out and we are still able to play with the toy just as much as before, only Abby has one less limb to tug on.

Our puppy loved this toy. She played with it a lot. But after some time we had to throw it away. She was chewing on it too long and started to take the stuffing out.

She loves it but doesn't last

My sister and her husband have two little Chiweenie dogs and it's a lot of fun to spoil them! When I went to visit them, I wanted to buy some toys for the dogs and came upon these KONG Cozie toys. They looked adorable and were a reasonable price so I ordered two different ones. I ordered Spunky the Monkey and Ali the Alligator in the medium size for their dogs, who are 11 pounds and 15 pounds. My sister said these toys are a good size for her dogs. The packaging says they are made of non-toxic materials and an extra layer is added to make the toys last longer. The toys are soft, adorable and look just like the pictures show. There is a squeaker in the butt part of both of the toys we got and I'm glad it's not a loud squeaker. One of my sister's dogs is afraid of loud noises and this one is perfect for him. The squeaker wasn't too easy for them to do but I had fun squeezing them and making noises for the dogs. These toys aren't meant to be chew toys and they are made in China. The dogs really liked these toys. We played tug-of-war with them and the dogs love to throw them in the air. When we were playing with them, I heard some stitches ripping but didn't notice anything major so I think these toys are fairly durable. They are so cute and both dogs claimed their own toys! Overall, I think they are well-made and good-quality for the price we paid. I can't speak for the other sizes but the medium size is good even for smaller dogs. Next time I need to buy more plush dog toys, I will be checking these out again and recommend them!

Our pup LOVES this toy! So much we’ve bought 2 just incase one goes missing or anything. It’s held up incredibly.

misleading in many ways. It doesn't have any Velcro with inner gift. The squeaker wore out in 3 days. However my doggie took an immediate liking to the toy, for whatever reasons. Not durable though.

Great toy for small dogs.
