Works on my older MacBook Air, iMac and MacBook Pro
Uses the Thunderbolt 2 Mini Display port connector on my older laptops to provide a DisplayPort connector AV out cable into a 4K BenQ monitor. Good quality results. This provides me with the split screen dual input or switchable display source features provided by my monitor. One source connected by HDMI from MacMini to HDMI Monitor and the second via this cable adaptor into the display port connection. Outstanding. This is a very well constructed product.

Different cable, same issue other cables.
I'm using with a Samsung G9 running 5120x1440 @ 240hz. Like the 2 cables before this one it's great to start with, no issues! After some time, approx 3 month, I'm was getting break ups starts to appear. A few weeks on and I'm back to the screen going completely blank for a second or two after 20 mins of use as with the previous cables. I assume this is a chipset issue?

So much better than HDMI
Compared this 8k Thunderbolt Mini Display to Display cable to 4k HDMI cable on my MacBook Pro. The 8k is able to produce better picture and 100Hz higher refresh rate. I can't believe the difference it made.

Used to connect a PC with a 5K Monitor, worked perfectly!

I was little sceptical when I ordered the cable. But now I have no regret. Its working properly and its video signal processing capability is better than hdmi or usb c cable I had. I got 4K with hdr from my legion laptop to 4K lg monitor. Build quality appears solid. Will update after using sometimes.

voici un câble mini display-port d'excellente facture : les prises sont robustes et tiennent bien en main. Le câble est souple sans être mou et il est bien protégé par une gaine en tissu serré. La qualité vidéo est au rendez-vous. Un très bon produit.

Highly recommend it. This cable delivered 144hz refresh rate as advertised, and it has been perfect. It also has very nice quality build, with nice anodized aluminum and braided cable. Got this cable to replace a different DP cable that did not deliver.
