As soon as I hear the beeps, I stop and I'm the distance I wish to be. I located it to the right side of the car (beside scrape bar) to allow for angled parking, albeit a bit closer to the curb than straight on, but not scraping anymore. Highly recommend. UPDATE: After a couple of needed adjustments, I've found that it is not working due to a broken internal part (likely my fault). However, finding that parts no longer exist...nor does curb sensors at all. Too bad because it did work great.

So glad that I purchased this for my Vette. Easy to install. As soon as I hear the beeps, I stop and I'm the distance I wish to be. Works most of the time, still use common sense when parking.
Installed this on a C6 Z06 Vette. Read the instructions, don't overcomplicate the install- Power up unit, press the button, put box in front of car at the HEIGHT and DISTANCE you want, adjust the sensor until you hear it beep. Once it beeps, lock the sensor, then test by moving the box back and forth, up and down and it should trigger. Once you are sure the distance and height is where it should be, lock everything down one last time, turn car off and you're done. That's it. As for the reliability- so far once it's flaked once and didn't turn on but eventually it came to life. Chinese electronics at it's finest :( EDIT: Tried to make some minor adjustments, it dropped dead, and unit started giving me busy signal tones, then it started going crazy every time you drove over lines in the road. Tried to reset according to instructions- didn't work. Ordered a replacement thru amazon, the replacement was a USED and MISSING PARTS return.

I received the product in August 2023 - Problem, the product was defective. Amazon was great with the return.

WARNING generic kit, not specific for C5 / C6 Corvette
WARNING! Product is a generic package not designed for C5 or C6 Corvette. Does not include the fuse holder attachment that allows easy installation into fuse block as shown on installation video. Buyer beware. I would call to confirm correct installation kit is provided. Gave one star since return of product was easy.
