Super good value in a scope
Great glass and an awesome scope that performs as well as scopes costing 4 times as much. Believe me I know.

Best choice for rimfire or short to medium distance shooting (50-300 yards)
Best choice scope for rimfire or short to medium distance (100-300 yards) shooting. Amazing solid build quality, very clear, holds zero, and it has a very large eye relief zone.

so far so good?
ive had another one of these before and i liked it. this time i went with the more simple plex reticle because i dont plan to be shooting overly far with the rifle this will be on. If it performs anything like my last one it should do good. I will say the adjustments are less stiff on this one, which could be a plus or minus for some. the turrets do have a nice audible click. the last one i had, the mag ring was very stiff, but no so much on this one, just about perfect.for the price they should at least come with some type of cheap lens covers, even like the crappy ones on a bungee cord a vortex comes with. For some reason this one had a bit of dust inside the box and on the lenses. Annoying. I did have to take it out of the factory looking plastic so im not sure why it would be dusty inside the packaging.

Good scope but no caps
View is clear even though only multi coated lenses. E3 Illumination is great with "off" detents between each brightness setting. Windage and Elevation adjustments are properly independent and do not interfere with each other. After mounting it only needed a windage adjustment of 16 MOA to align with bore sight LASER. So far I believe it to be a good buy. You will need to order lens covers since they don't even include a bikini cover!. Mfg's website lists objective as 49mm and ocular as 41.5mm but I measured ocular to be 42.5mm and my cap fit is so perfect that I cannot believe anything less than 42.5 will fit. Since caps are a must-have and info is incorrect, I only give it 4 stars. Now that I have the proper caps, I will go for a test run. Will update review if necessary

Clear scope, works great.
Clear glass, seems to hold zero, easy to see targets. Will purchase again.

Good scope
I use it for an inline muzzleloader, and it was performed well. The magnification ring is a little stiff, but the eye relief is better than some more expensive scopes.

Poor Burris Quality Control
I was a 20 plus year Burris customer, until buying this one. After a few weeks of problems trying to get it to hold a pattern, I proved the scope was bad by simply taking it off and putting on a different brand. Rifle shot perfectly with the other brand! I sent it back for repair and Burris returned it to me with a test form saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Apparently they didn't try mounting it and shooting it. I didn't want my money back I just wanted a replacement but they refused. Hated to hear that because I loved Burris up until this experience.
