Will this work with all sugar sodas?

according to the manual it does. we have done pop and strong koolaid .it has worked very well with both. I mix 1 quart of water, 1 pkg. unsweetened koolaid and 1 cup of sugar.

Can you use already made slushies in this? Having a kids party and can purchase from station for $1.69 for an XL. We would like to add when needed.

You can make 24oz slushies/slurpies in any flavor. Since my husband is a coke slurpy freak, I use regular Cola and buy cola syrup. He says it tastes exactly like a 7/11 slurpy..... You can only make one every 10-15 minites, so I don't know how many you will be making. It is recommended not to run the machine more than 15 minites at a time. It takes about ten minutes to make enough to fill a 24oz styrofoam cup. If you're having a party for small children, you can give them 8oz cups, bit you can't make them all at the same time. You might be a le to pre-make some and store in freezer for a short time....just a thought.

Does it work with only water and not just juice or a sugary syrup?

I've done starbucks bottle ice coffee in it and it works great. So i would think plain water would work just fine.
