Endless Summer DualHeat Donovan 38" Propane Fire Pit Table & Patio Heater

We live in Wisconsin so our evenings can get chilly. I wanted a fire pit table that would encourage us to be outside together more. Most fire pit tables give a nice glow but really don't keep you warm. Then, enters Endless Summer Dual Heat. Concept is great, table is stylish, easy and very practical. The heater below the table keeps your legs warm while you enjoy the beautiful glow of the table. In addition, it functions as a regular table when you place the cover on the heating elements when not in use. The table sits a bit higher than other tables so make sure you have the proper seating height on your chairs. For us, we are enjoying our table with our regular patio furniture. Getting plenty of use during our chilly spring evenings. HIGHLY recommend this product. Worth the extra coin for sure.

The fire pit arrived ahead of schedule and was well packaged. Assembly was completed in under an hour and once the propane tank was attached/tested, started right up! It's a good size, sturdy and attractive; the tabletop insert and plastic cover are nice features and not included with some others. The options to have either the top or the bottom heat sources, or both, on at once is another useful feature. Nothing bad to say about it. Hoping it holds up and stands the test of time so we can enjoy it for many cool evenings in the future!

I am going to give it a three although it’s still in the box until fall time. My daughter has one just like it so I know what it looks like and love it. I love the price I waited all through the absorbent high prices in winter until summer and it was worth the wait. Once I open it and use it and see it functions well I will change the stars to match the value. Update: I finally opened it. It was damaged from the ups driver rolling it to my door after dropping it outside his truck. It was heavy. The corner of the table is damaged and the frame was bent. I am now past my window due to my delay of opening it. If you purchase it, do it in the summer and open it right away.

We love this fire pit. The dual heating is a wonderful idea, a traditional firepit with the added benefit of a radiant heater on the sides. You can use both or either. The only reason for the 4 stars was that the top arrived with a gouge in it that we cannot repair but the company responded immediately and is working with us.

I was a bit leery of the price on this fire table but was fascinated by the idea of an under table heater as well as a flame ring. The fact that this is the same height as a normal table is wonderful where most of these are lower. It took about 2 hours to assemble, which I did by myself with no issues. I appreciated extra bolts etc being included to ensure nothing was missing. This is a solid piece that, with the heater, extends chilly days and nights. The family loves it. I have no regrets but do wish it was a tab bit cheaper.

So I bought this fire pit four years ago thinking my wife would really enjoy the lower heater. However, we both have objections to it: I have never been able to fully remove the sticker applied to the top (see picture), I ask myself what type of glue could they have possibly used knowing everyone who bought one of these is going to remove it. I wrote to techical support asking them how to do it. I've tried water, paint thinner, acetone, but no good. The ignition system is weird. On most LP devices I've used, the flame control & the ignitor are controlled separately. With this unit they are controlled by one knob, which means the ignitor will keep firing the thermalcouple heats up enough to allow the flame to stay on. I theorize this will result in a premature failure of the ignitor. With the lower heater design, the top of the unit is much higher than other fire pits. My wife feels this obstructs the conversation between four people sitting around the unit. Finally, the lower heater doesn't really throw out a lot of heat. If the situation were to arise, I would not buy this unit again. If I could give is zero stars, I would.

Easy to assemble, looks great, and works like a charm. So glad I purchased this, it really makes evenings out on the deck amazing.

Assembly would have been quick, but several of the predrilled/threaded holes were not lined up. Required nurmerous wood clamps to twist the leg into position, so that it could be assembled, after the legs were drilled out larger. Took over an hour to assemble. Shipping box had numerous holes in it, including one that looked like it was from a forklift. Packaging kept the item itself from being damaged.
