Very capable.
This is a really good version of a multitool and it's very easy to use.It has a built in Allen key at the front to open the jaws for fitting blades. Not as good as my generic one with a lever, but unless you're changing blades a lot, it's not an issue (assuming you don't lose it). It's held pretty fast though.Batteries are the usual WORX type and it's got good balance when one is fitted. Furthermore it stands upright on one too.Good power, easy to change the speed with a dial and it's coped with wood, aeriated blocks, wood and concrete. It's comfortable to use with a good grip and nice weight. Smaller than some too.Good battery life and the choice to use large capacity batteries from the WORX range (or 3rd party ones).Accessories are good, having general cutting blade plus metal and some backs for the supplied sanding pads too.

My favourite tool !
My favourite tool of all !I have several Worx tools now but this is my favourite, its so versatile in that it can be used for many different jobs around the house or in the garden etc.Its very easy to change the blades and being able to adjust the speed levels up and down is very handy for different types of jobs, e.g. I recently used it to remove some old tile grout and at slow speed it worked a treat. Its easy to operate and fits in the hand very well, I don't find the tool to be noisy and the quality of the tool very good. you could pay a lot more for a multi-tool like this but why would you?.I have two of the Worx batteries so I always have a spare one but I don't find that this tool is excessive on the battery

Cordless Worx Oscillating Tool ….
I’ll admit, I’m a bit biased as a Worx tool fan, but the Worx WX696.9 Sonicrafter Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool has completely won me over—again! Worx consistently delivers versatile, high-quality tools, and this one is no exception.First off, the fact that it’s cordless is a game-changer. No more tripping over cables or being limited by outlet locations—just grab it and go. The freedom to move around makes projects so much easier, whether I’m cutting, sanding, or scraping. The versatility of this tool is incredible. With the right attachment, it handles everything from precision cuts to sanding in tight spaces. And since it’s part of the Worx tool system, I can swap batteries with my other Worx tools, which is a huge plus. It’s also easy to use, with a comfortable grip and smooth operation. Even on tougher jobs, it delivers consistent power without bogging down.If you’re looking for a reliable, no-fuss oscillating multi-tool that gets the job done, the Worx WX696.9 Sonicrafter is a fantastic choice. Worx has done it again—highly recommend!

Not a Makita but then again a bargain that does the job
I already have am Worx Grass trimmer/edger and needed a multitool for occasional use. This was a fraction of the cost of my usual tools (Makita) and yet came with a battery, charger and hard case for less than the cost of a Makita bare tool.Handles really well as the body is quite thin. The vibrations are not too bad - although used it for 3 hours straight sanding some oak posts and after my hands knew it. Great value additional battery to go with my trimmer - couldn't be happier.

Versatile tool
Handy tool for a variety of light diy jobs. Able to get into tight spaces for sawing/cutting and variable speed means you can set speed according to need of task. Blades that come with the tool are ok but worth spending a bit extra to get good quality blades. I now have two of these tools as I'm always reaching for it, been handy with fitting new skirting/architrave and chasing plaster to fit new windows. Already having other Worx tools means I have plenty of batteries. Only minor issue is that under heavy load or continuous use the motor generates a lot of heat that transfers through the handle - don't know if this is 'normal' or how it is likely to affect longevity but for my light diy use its fine given the versatility and time saving.

Good Quality Tool
I am a fan of Worx products for my DIY jobs and already own the necessary batteries so this was an obvious choice when my budget mains-powered tool failed. It hasn’t disappointed but it doesn’t come with a case and the blade changes are not quite as slick as my old tool (but the Allen-key based locking mechanism makes for a very secure fixing). Nonetheless, I am very pleased with my purchase.
