Wanted this to video my horse that competes in dressage. After reading reviews on the Pivo, I thought it was a"questionable" purchase, but worth the "experiment.... After understanding how to use it, I realized in the negative reviews I had seen on YouTube, that the rider's weren't following simple instructions. For horse video, you MUST have a contrasting color (either white saddle pad/leg wraps/gloves) for the Pivo to find and stay with you. There can't be more than 1 horse visible to it in the arena (it will get confused which horse to video, as it looks for the "profile" of any horse in its range). It "stays" with you for 20-30 meters. Best to keep horse in a "profile" view (ie, doesn't recognized straight on centerline view well because it is looking for a horse, not a figure in a straight line...... These "requirements" sounds limiting, BUT for the price, it's a bargain!!! Other robot remotes are 10 times the price!! They do more, but they cost so much more. This Pivo is so simple to use by yourself, just follow the instructions, and don't try to expect it to be what it isn't. For the price, ability, and convenience it is a BARGAIN (and a very useful "tool"!!!!

Love my Pivo! I use it for videoing my riding. I made the mistake of paying almost $1000 for the Pixem last year. The pixem is very difficult to set up and track. I decided to purchase the Pivo. It is so easy to use. The only time I find that it loses track of me is if I come too close to it other than that it has been spot on! If you use this for horseback riding, there is a FB group for Pivo. The company is great about answering questions people have. And I use an app to create the video into photos. Totally recommend the Pivo.

I’ve been using this. It has so many features that I have o my started to play with. I use it the most on the standard mode. I super love that it follows me and or an object around and it’s very smooth! I really like it. As I learn more video ideas I’m sure I’ll use it more

This product was a great find as I've never been able to get video footage of me and my horse while training him. The Pivo Silver for equestrians and the Pivo Track app seems to be the current offering. I would have given it 5 Stars, but it's still a little buggy and trying to find one set of instructions is impossible - mostly trying to understand the remote buttons and features that do or don't work in different situations??. The support group for the product is worthless and they just give you a canned response for any problems (change batteries, reinstall software, send them a bunch of info, as well as the instructions they send you don't actually align with the remote that you have - there are numerous instruction versions out there, but none actually align perfectly with remote and software?? There's also several Pivo apps that add to the confusion. I gave up on trying to get help with my remote's features, and just doing trial and error on my own Also helpful to read some of the comments on the Pivo Equestrian Facebook group and watching youtube reviews. This product and software has A LOT of potential, but the developers and documentation need to do some refining to reduce the bugs and unpredictability of the hardware and app.

I bought this because my trainer is 4 hours away from me. This allows me to take weekly lessons with ease. The only tracking issue I have had is when the sun gets in the lens view during sunrise or sunset hours (I ride outdoors) and it loses track of the horse. Hard to blame the product for that. This product is a game-changer and I highly recommend it.

You can’t use it when there’s multiple people in the view of the camera. I tried to record myself skating in a rink. Every time another skater passed by in front of my phone Pivo would pick them up as the shooting target and start to follow them. It’s quite comical seeing my phone just rotated to film other people like the guy in that famous guy-looking-at-another-girl meme lol. It’s a shame because I really wanted this to work. It’d have been a huge plus to my skating practice. I wonder if Pivo could add Bluetooth track to the remote or support airtags so it has an additional way to track the targeted body. But for now it only works well when you are the only person in the view of your camera.

Great product. We are using it for long distance horse riding lessons and it works well. It has a horse tracking feature, which works 99% of the time. Auto zoom which is helpful. A long bettery time and easy to use. I would recommend it for this use.

Probably the most difficult piece of equipment to use that advertised to be simple and effective for making reels. I have never used it more than 4x and it’s really a sad waste of $$$. I would not recommend. Pivo has so many Apps - which one do you choose to use? I didn’t find the face tracking feature to be as well as it advertised and many times it would time out not finding a face at all. You have to spend some significant time researching how to get up and running with this technology. Not a fan and not recommended. It doesn’t do a great job teaching the body either and will cut off your head or zoom in where you don’t want to. Which defeats the purpose if your several feet away trying to use it for this feature.

Only had it a few days but easy to set up and pair. Got on prime day at a good price. Came with storage box which is nice and secure and will take a battering at the stables. Fits onto a standard tripod easily and good weight. Using it for tracking riding and has worked quite well in first use, tracked well but saw a bit of jittering as it moves.

Nach ein bisschen ausprobieren und tüfteln funktioniert die Aufnahme meiner Reiteinheiten wunderbar. Der Pivo passt einwandfrei auf mein vorhandenes Stativ und die App arbeitet ohne Probleme auf meinem Samsung A 40. Die Fernbedienung ist leider etwas schwierig, mir fehlen hier klare Bezeichnungen. Hier komme ich noch nicht so klar auf die Entfernung und verschslte mich öfters wenn ich das Handy nicht einsehen kann...
