Positive Grid Spark 40W Guitar Amp + Traveler Bag Bundle – Black

I bought this amp a few weeks ago and wanted to use it and all of its features before review: POSITIVE: 1. Easy to use both with and without the app. I can't express how important this is. 2. Great Sound. 3. Portable 4. App works great and connects easily 5. The Jam Along features are awesome 6. Looks great and seems sturdy (despite the mini toggle switch). NEGATIVE: 1. Very first thing you touch is an undersized toggle switch. Not a fan. 2. I would pay an additional $50 to have a balanced line out. The only way to play louder is with a mic. 3. No effects loop. 4. Uses a laptop charger which does not store on or in the amp. This would be a convenience. 5. The tuner seems like an afterthought and really isn't that functional. I would definitely buy this again and would recommend it to anyone who needs a practice amp that sounds great. I keep the big guns in my studio and the Spark has found a nice spot in my bedroom. I chose the Pearl White, and it looks classy on my nightstand. I traveled with it to Orlando and it worked flawlessly.

Wow, I did a ton of research on this amp before buying it. The sound quality is BEYOND impressive. My primary rigs are tube amps but this Spark amp is perfect for practicing. It's super portable and packs a punch!!! The onboard effects are awesome as well as the versatility with the app on my iPhone. You can literally download thousands of effects created by other Spark users and basically sound like any professional musician. You can also upload effects made by yourself to share with others. So glad we bought this for my son who's an aspiring guitar player. This is the perfect tool to re-inspire his wanting to learn. The backing tracks are really cool; you can learn leads with a virtual band playing along side you and the chords are displayed in real time for learning the rhythms. We'll BOTH be using this amp for years to come!!! I highly recommend this product!

This amp is really great quality and easy to use, even for a beginner. It's awesome how you can control the amp though the phone app with really solid bluetooth connection and super clean sound, there are so many tones and features to play with. The smart jam feature in the app is also a really new and fun way for me to practice. It makes for an easy way to explore playing along with different styles of music. This is a conveniently small amp but will have a huge effect on how I play and practice with my guitar. I also really appreciate the sweet bag that it came with that will keep it safe in storage and transit. Overall I'm super impressed and would recommend!

Great product. The sound is great. Is like a tube amp. If you are not an Stage musician, this is your amp. You have lot of effects, and sounds awesome. It's very loud....not made for stage, but for any practice is going to be the best investment. I totally recommend it. Moreover it's like a music amp with grat sound for your apartment or your bedroom (may be too loo loud). I use it with my Iphone 12 and works with any problem...lots of fun. If you are looking to reach inspiration this is your amp. You get so many sounds of famous guitarrists that you will need a lot of time to play....Since hay got it I wont to play play and play...and play some more. Buy it. You wont be dissapointed.

The Positive Grid Spark arrived when expected in good condition. Very flexible in that it handles bass, acoustic, and has 5 electric guitar amps (clean, glassy, crunch, hi gain, and metal) along with 3 effects (mod, delay, and reverb). I like that you don't have to hook up a computer to get a good tone, which is full and loud given 2 x 4" speakers. Playing along to backing tracks from my tablet works fine over bluetooth. Hooking up a tablet was quick and easy, but I am occasionally having connect problems and have to power down and power up my tablet and the Spark to get it to work. The tones you can get using the Spark app are amazing, but other parts of the app need some work like the auto chord function, which I don't find very accurate. I'm just starting to use the jam feature, but so far, I like it. I'm glad I bought it and believe it will help me become a better guitarist, but right now I'm spending too much time playing with it and not enough time practicing with it.

I am a novice guitarist who thought I was gonna have to replace my first guitar, but decided to swap out an old Esteban amp my mom gave me. So - I watched some reviews and decided to pick up the Positive Grid Spark amp. From the moment I plugged it in, my playing shifted dramatically and I could finally experiment with so many tones! The best part is that you can just plug in and play or get the functionality of thousands of different tones that immediately go to your amp seamlessly. If it wasn't obvious from my photo, I am a DOOM fan. Having the ability to turn my little 6th string into a chugging monster simulating an 8 string was killer. I would 100% recommend this amp to anyone looking for a well-priced, versatile option.

Smart amp, if you're looking for something to take your guitar playing to the next level this amp is for you. I can literally play for hours find myself getting lost in the music. I am amazed at what this amp can do, bluetooth speaker, pedal board , backing tracks, learning a song, recording yourself. With this the possibilities are endless, I have a bigger line six which I love but this really puts it to shame. Not necessarily when it comes to volume but the line six is also triple the size, it's the versatility I have never experienced before such a genius idea to make a smart amp. And no issues with a non grounded cable like everyone else is complaining about.

I like how many choices you have to use it as a modeling amp with multiple effects “pedals”. I use it for practice because it’s so small and light. I don’t have to take out my stomp board to practice if I don’t want to. It also works well if you find a sound you like and mike the amp. The carrying case is a great fit and makes it easy to head to a friends with your 15 lb amp that makes enough sound to have fun. It claims to be 40 watts but my even my Marshall SC20 puts out a lot more sound. You probably can’t gig with it but it’s fun to play with.

Absolutely awesome. So easy to use, even the app wasn't painful. Great sound and options even if you choose to ignore the app and use it as a straightforward amp. Brilliant product

Para gente como yo que solo queremos tocar la guitarra eléctrica en casa, es una maravilla. La simulación de amplificadores y efectos es soberbia, muy por encima de otros dispositivos multiefectos como el valeton GP-100 o el NUX MG-300. Y lo digo con conocimiento porque los he tenido a ambos. El software es intuitivo, destacando la nube con miles de tonos creados por usuarios o por la propia compañía. Vuelvo a hacer hincapié en la calidad de los tonos. Eso sí, no esperéis unos altavoces Hi-Fi, ya que son para lo que son. La música por bluetooth hay que ecualizarla desde la fuente del sonido (móvil, tablet...) para que suene decente, ya que de fábrica suena "a caja". Los sonidos de guitarra por los altavocers suenan mejor, pero también es conveniente utilizar el módulo de ecualización que lleva en el software de creación del tono para que suene más parecido a lo que oímos por los auriculares... porque eso sí, con unos buenos auriculares el sonido que sale de éstos es increíble, tanto de la fuente bluetooth como de los tonos de guitarra. Como digo, el problema es que esos tonos están hechos para sonar bien por los auriculares, pero una vez sacamos el sonido por los altavoces es muy diferente, puede decepcionar a primeras, pero se arregla con la ecualización como digo. Si a esto le añadimos que actúa como interface de audio y podemos grabar directamente al PC, es el elemento perfecto para disfrutar en casa.

Esa padrísimo el diseño, suena decente, tal vez la correa que trae no va de acuerdo al diseño, sería genial que viniera con una manija para mayor comodidad. Estaría genial que tuviera conectividad inalámbrica para guitarra.

L'oggetto è davvero ben fatto e di dimensioni molto ridotte, potentissimo per lo spazio che occupa, con una tracolla per lo spostamento (e la borsa, ovviamente, per il trasporto) e può essere messo su un rack o sul tavolo senza particolari problemi. E' anche bellino quindi fa da arredo, non c'è paragone con una mega testata che in saletta ovviamente si apprezza ma magari non in camera! Con l'app si possono creare (o scaricare) preset per ogni evenienza (la libreria online è ben fornita), poi modificabili a piacere; può essere usato anche come cassa bluetooth e per suonare pezzi mentre si suona, così come è divertente la possibilità di crearsi le "smart-jam" per esercitarsi. Se si cerca un pezzo particolare su internet ed esiste un preset adatto ti viene suggerito, così come recupera in automatico gli accordi (quasi sempre esatti). Il suono è davvero buono e impressionante, per divertirsi e provare a casa è l'ideale, in saletta o concerto non è adattissimo, direi se la può cavare in acustico o eventi di molto piccole dimensioni, ma rimane quel che è: un bellissimo e tecnologico ampli *per la casa*. Comodissimo che faccia anche da interfaccia audio USB, quindi puoi registrare direttamente nel tuo sequencer (qualità più che buona). Difetti: solo 4 slot salvabili nell'hardware (l'app a questo punto è indispensabile), e si sente ovviamente la mancanza di un pedale per poter cambiare suono durante le canzoni, anche solo per passare a distorto per un assolo bisogna farlo sull'app. Il pedale ufficiale (bluetooth) si può comprare a parte, oppure si possono aggiungere pedalini esterni... In conclusione, divertentissimo e molto buono per provare/registrare in casa, quasi perfetto in generale, può diventare praticamente perfetto con l'aggiunta del suo pedale. Per il prezzo che ha, è praticamente imbattibile.
