Fairly easy to install
We were so nervous about ordering this as we were afraid the sizing could be off. Finally did so and we couldn’t be happier! We have a 2022 Forest River 24RLXL and our slide is 89.5 inches wide. It took two of us about a half an hour to install. Looks great and hopefully will secure the area and keep water from coming in.

Does exactly as intended.
Always install slide awnings on RV’s we’ve owned. This one fit the bill perfectly. Easy to install too!

For "top of the line" not worth the $400
We have been to about 60 Campsites in the past year and a half. So the 80" topper has been retracted about 75 times including during heavy winds just to be cautious. It has now pulled out of the roof track and only held at each end.

Arrived as was described. Works well. We had the dealer install it but no issues at all.

Shipping was rough on the parts and packaging.
The awning rail was twisted up beyond straightening. I believe the shipper dropped it more than once. The packaging should have been more secure. They used packing tape on both ends of the tube. Which became ripped and torn open. Felt lucky that all the parts were still there. Had to purchase a new awning rail from a local awning shop. Otherwise, it installed fairly easy following a Youtube instruction video. The manufacturer's instruction manual was not too informative. Also, it was ripped almost in half. Looks good and fits good on my 8 ft slideout.

Great product for keeping slide tops safer.
Very easy install provided you follow the directions. There's also a video on YouTube that was very easy to follow. It was for out style rv and made it super easy.

Great, but REMOVE THE HIDDEN PINS ON EACH SIDE OF THE ROLLER!
Works great, but be aware the instructions don’t tell you that there is a pin on each side of the roller that Hass to be removed before extending the awning for the first time! Terrible oversight in the instructions. If I hadn’t been watching the slide come out and had somebody else extend it the first time, the top trim of my slide would have been ripped off! Just beware of removing the two silver pins, one on each side of the roller once it is installed and in place and before you extend it the first time. Otherwise, functions great, and I’m happy with the purchase! Should make a big difference in keeping leaves, rainwater, and excess heat off of the slide.

Damage product
Product was damage, even if the packaging was intact. As shown on the picture, the metal part that needs to be install on the RV is bent.
