Excellent product for protecting cords from the Roomba. I'm utilizing it on berber carpeting. This will only work for you if you have a loop-style carpeting such as berber because the velcro must firmly adhere to something. Cut-pile carpeting will not work.

This was purchased for use in a school and I was concerned (seems to be a theme of my reviews) that it wouldn't hold as I have used similar products in the past. Well, it held much better than expected, looks great and I expect a long life for it. I tried pulling it up after putting it on the carpet and it was hard to pull up (it did, but it's exactly what I expected and it's rare you get a product that meets exactly what you want). I am now buying these over the rolled up rubber ones I have used in the past.

These strips adhere to looped carpet just like if you had the looped and fuzzy sides of Velcro strips. No mess and can be cut to size. You can also easily reposition it if you don't get it just right at the first attempt. Ordered the tan and it's true to color. Much less messy than attaching duct tape to carpet (you know you've seen that).

Whoever designed this, doesn't own a carpet floor. I'm sure the idea looked great on paper, but this is light, beige fabric. You are going to have to wash this every week. Not to mention it absolutely doesn't hold to carpet. Maybe if the fibers of your carpet are office kind. But not the home kind. Maybe I should've read the description. Maybe is meant for a place with very low to zero traffic. But is not for home, and is not for normal traffic.

I was initially overwhelmed by the amount of options here on Amazon, however this one gave the best descriptions and images of what carpet works best. Also the previous ratings helped. It was extremely easy to install. Took me more time to open the box, than line up the cords and secure it to the carpet. I thought my dog would have an issue with the solid line in her path. She didn't, so I guess it's doggie approved. The cover features a full piece of rough velcro, the cloth for the tan cover has a little shine to it. Doesn't bother me, might for some people who require specific colors. Overall not too bad. Another solution

This only works with shag carpet or J hook carpets. It WILL NOT work at all for any of the shorter or high traffic carpet.

This cord cover is great when you use it on the carpet suggested by the seller. It grips soo good it didn't even come up when my nephew was purposely trying to get it to. I hope it continues to work since I am using it in a high foot traffic area.

It is in use now and it works great and looks great also.
