Must have snorkel for lap swimming training or excercise
I have been using this snorkel for my lap swimming workouts, and I can tell you it has been a great choice. This particular snorkel was my first choice because of their quality and past use of Arena products. The snorkel allows for a good degree of adjustment making it possible for the user to find a comfortable fit even when swimming for a long duration. The snorkel is made from good quality plastic which is light yet durable and hence can be easily used for numerous times. More importantly however is the fact that it works perfectly well – just as a snorkel should. So whether you are using it for a workout or practicing for your next competition, it is a great snorkel usage. It is reliable, it is comfortable, and simply gets into the gear bag of every swimmer!

Doesn’t get unwanted water in the mouthpiece.
Finally!!! A swimming snorkel that I don’t get water penetration in the mouth that slows me down at high speeds. I went through 2 other snorkels before this one. Was tired of spitting water out every 1-2 laps. Very comfortable to wear and adjust. Great product.

Works Well
Where you adjust were the snorkel hits your head is a little loose but other than that great product.

The new version with the 1-way valve is PERFECT
Update. I recently purchased the newer version of this snorkel that has a 1-way valve. It is a completely different, and MUCH better snorkel. It is heavier-duty than the model w/o the valve. So, sturdier. More comfortable head brace. If you do backstroke, the snorkel easily pivots to one side or the other. If you do flip turns, the 1-way valve is a must. With the non-valve version, I would have to reserve air to blow out the water. This was tricky, as I also had to expel air through my nose to keep the water out during the flip. I don't use nose clips. With the 1-way valve, it requires much less air to blow out, because you only have to push it out the valve, which is an inch away from the mouthpiece, as opposed to having to blow it out of the top of the snorkel. Further, if you do run out of air, you only have to flip your chin up out of the water, and the snorkel drains immediately. No need to have to remove the snorkel from your mouth.I had been using the Speedo version. However, because the Speedo has an oval shaped tube, you can't rotate it out of the way when you want to swim backstroke. Not a big deal, but this model works much better, as it's easy to rotate out of the way. I also find the smaller mouthpiece to be more comfortable than the larger, which is the same size as the one that comes with the Speedo version.

Broke After Just Two Uses
This product was a huge disappointment—it broke after we used it only two times.

Best Snorkel I’ve used
I’ve been swimming for triathlon training since 2015. Snorkel drills are a staple for those of us who started later in life. I’ve had 2 Finis but got this one due to the different direction for the valve. I think this is much better and will last longer. It is more comfortable on my forehead during long sets. I haven’t needed to clear the snorkel after an open turn and I think it is due to the valve direction. So far seems to be a good piece of equipment.

Best snorkel
My 11 year old son is on a year round swim team. He started out with the TYR snorkel, which quickly started taking on water. We switched to this arena snorkel and he has been extremely pleased. Has worked well for his training and I like the bright green color he selected as it stands out and is less likely to get lost at practice.
