This book Walks the Talk!
The title says it all - How to Become a Million Dollar Speaker. No hype. No B.S. This is a great exposè, very probing, and captured with great detail by the journalist Saltzman. It's refreshing to get the 'skinny' on how to make it to the top income level in speaking by a guy who actually has done it (check out the other books written on the subject by people who make their money selling books instead of selling speeches!) This book reveals the way that Siebold got to the top of the speaking industry, and Saltzman then hammers Siebold with a multitude of probing questions on how he did it, and what it takes to stay there. Great questions, and GREAT answers.I found the book absolutely invaluable - it is content-rich, and not smoke-and-mirrors like most other books on the topic out there. Saltzman is incisive with his questioning, and Siebold is straight to the point in his answers, revealing answers and insights that you just don't hear anywhere else. This is the real deal on a guy who is the real deal.I think if you REALLY want to know what it takes to become a million dollar speaker - and stay there - you just have to read this book... and copy Siebold.Great work Saltzman! Looking forward to your next one!

This book opened doors!
This book did provide me with a new approaches to public speaker I had not heard or known of prior to this. I have been speaking for over a decade and now I have the beginning of a blueprint for succeeding as a keynote speaker.Timothy Michael Ricke

Not enough "how to"
It seems that Steve had a lot of really serendipitous relationships, but I finished feeling left out of a certain luck circle. I wanted more on how to actually get it done, not that he walked into it accidentally over and over.

Stretch your horizon
Million Dollar Speaker is a book that anyone who communicates for a living should read. Unless you live in a world alone without contact with others, this book has ideas worth learning. The importance of having a dream, the due diligence of preparing for the big league and not taking the easy road are worth emulating in any profession. I am interested in learning more about the Bill Gove workshop. Successful people know how to communicate.

This book is to love. It pulls no punches in telling you what it takes to be a million-dollar public speaker and if you find yourself for reasons not really wanting to go that way (decide what kind of speaker you want to be), please switch paths--quick. This book is extremely helpful

I can save you the bother of reading the book!
So here goes, the content of the book:- Bill Gove is great.- Steve Siebold is great.- To be a good speaker, you need to be able to give a good talk. (Shocking, I know.)- The author (a term I use very loosely) thinks the only way to do so is to attend a workshop. It's Bill Gove's workshop, now run by Steve Siebold. Surprise, surprise.- Eeehh... No, that's it.It's a sad, sad advert masquerading as a book.

should have been 100 pages.
Information was ok, but nothing earth shattering. The book was Horribly set up like instant messaging...wth? Wouldn't have felt so bad if I only paid a buck or two. I own over 200 speaking books dating back to the 50's, this one will be re-gifted.

Well Written and Informative
Not only does this book provide crucial information for those wanting to become professional speakers, it also explodes several myths about how to get started and where to focus.
