Why I Love You: A Journal of Us (What I Love About You Journal)

I gifted this to my boyfriend as a birthday gift. I am not a person myself who would gift a journal ( because I am not really into reading and writing ) but I knew he would love it and when I read the reviews I got an idea it's going to be fun and cute which was actually true. I would recommend to order it at least 2 weeks before you want to gift it as it really requires your thoughts and efforts, it made me explore our relationship at a whole new level, made me think about our past -how we met, our present-how we feel for each other currently and our future. My boyfriend was amazed and shocked when he opened the package. I can never forget his reaction, it was priceless. He felt really special and loved and could not believe for a second that I actually did this. The chapters in the book are really detailed and you get an opportunity to scribble down your feelings and post your pictures together, which makes the journal your to-go-book to refresh your memories and bring that instant smile on your face every time it is in front of your eyes. I left some blank spaces in the chapter where it talk about the future (pets, cars, vacations shared) and left a small note - I would love to fill this soon, it really touched him. He laughed at some really fun things I wrote and adored my feelings where I posted pictures and wrote small thoughts and quotes. I drew small cute doodles wherever I could to give that extra edge which he absolutely loved. You can be very creative, fun and thoughtful with this gift, just requires a little time and thinking. I loved the idea of how you can make a journal of your love story, I am definitely going to show it to our children. This gift is absolutely close to our heart!!!

I'm giving this to my husband for our 21st. Wedding Anniversay. I know he will love this book! You will have so much fun looking back on your memories and may have memories that she or he may have forgot. The book is very nice put together. It looks and feels more exspensive then it is. The pages are so nice, they are thick, so don't worry about the pen bleeding onto the page on the other side. You have funny memories, goofy ones, some I even came across I couldn't really answer lol..it has a nice red cloth like rubber stretchy to keep the book closed, and a pretty red ribbon that is attached to the book to keep bookmark. It's such a great book put together well. You might want to get this and give yourself like 2 weeks or not even that long, so you can really think, and write in your words from your heart, if your busy a lot, it may take a little bit to finish, just go to a nice quiet part of the house, and make sure you have a good place to hide it! LOL.. But the book isn't long to where your going to feel like it's a chore, nothing like that, some are just a few words they need and others may be just short of a paragraph, so don't think it's just going to be over whelming to get it done, I thought it was fun, remembering all the fun, funny times, romantic times, he or she will love it! Even if it's not a Annerversary, or Bday, this would be a great gift to give out of the blue! Guys if you do this for your Wife, you will melt their hearts! :) . I think husband would really like it to and touch their hearts

I bought this to give my husband for Christmas this year. It took me 4 days to fill in all 96 pages and dig out some pictures to add to the book. It brought back a lot of memories, a few laughs, and some deep thoughts. I gave it 4 stars because some of the prompts are re-worded versions of what was already asked and it got a little tedious at times to fill out. Still a great romantic gift to give your partner!

Honestly for the price, I was expecting mediocre. This book exceeded all my expectations. The pages are thick and well bonded, the prompts are somewhat repetitive at times, but its easy to find other answers to give variation. Theres ALOT more prompts that I expected. I got this for my boyfriends birthday in a month, but it might be an anniversary present for 3 months from now. Id advise if you're getting this to buy it well before your date.

So.... February 14th is a double whammy of a date for me.... its valentines day AND my 1st wedding anniversary. I was in search of something unique and special for my husband when I came across this particular book. I will start off by saying, there is nothing corny, sickly sweet or sexual about the journal. Its a personal, loving, heart felt account of how you feel about your partner. It is very unisex in design, and would make a great love token to a male or a female. The book is of a wonderful quality, deep red in color (not a hint of pink anywhere if this is a gift for a man), its hard back and has embossed love hearts on the front and back cover. I loved the set out of the journal, after each chapter there is a page to include extra thoughts, notes, photos and memories. Some examples of the contents are: *Our perfect day together would be.... *At least 2 things that have improved in my life since we met... *The best advice you have ever given me is.... *You bring out the best in me, specifically.... *something we both admire in each other... *our most romantic moment was... *something I know about you that the rest of the world doesn't... *A significant milestone in our relationship... *Most memorable event adventures together... The pages go on and on...its amazing value for money. The only thing I would recommend is ordering this a good 1-2 months before you are planning to give it to a loved one. There are a lot of pages to work through and lots to think about!!!

I have been looking for a book to fill out for my boyfriend of 4 years who just moved away and I miss like crazy. I checked all the other ones out but they seemed repetitive or corny... And then I came across this one. Not only is it a beautiful book but the prompts were great. They made you think and you could be as detailed as you wanted. I found the journaling pages to be a great place to write him a short letter.... All I need to do is print out some pictures and send it on it's way to him. I am excited to see how he will react when he reads it. It's a lovely book that I enjoyed filling out and remember the little things. ❤️

Ein sehr schönes Buch, super Geschenk. Die Seiten sind mit etwas dickerem Papier versehen, darauf kann man auch super mit bunten Filzstiften schreiben. Sehr viele, verschiedene Fragen und Möglichkeiten um dem Partner zu zeigen wie gern man ihn hat. Nette Details und liebevolle Verarbeitung.

This is such a cute idea. The journal is filled with countless prompts that range from fun, surface level trivia about your relationship to deeper questions about your past and future together. The sheer number of prompts is both a blessing and a bit of a task. If you plan to fill it out completely before giving it to your partner, give yourself at least a month to gather your thoughts and collect the photos and drawings it asks for. The time you put in is absolutely worth it. I found myself appreciating my partner even more while working through it, and they loved how thoughtful and deep it turned out. It is a great memento that will last forever, and even though a few prompts felt slightly repetitive or obscure, the overall product is well worth it.

This is an awesome book. About 90 or so pages for you to fill in with little stories about how you met, what you like about your partner etc... Recommend doing the first 30 or so pages, and leaving some of the pages to do together. There is a section that is about us or such and its quite nice to go through together. I preferred this over the other knock knock books because this includes a lot more personal questions and space to write out. Just note - it takes a while to fill in.
