GreenLife 12" 5QT Electric Skillet, Turquoise

Upon unpacking this Green Life Electric Skillet, I realized right away how well it was protected in styrofoam and plastic so there were no scratches on it whatsoever. The finish was beautiful. I was impressed at how pretty the dark blue option was. The lid is heavy, a substantial well made product with heat resistant knob, a steam vent and easily fits the skillet. Included in the box were the owners manual, a Tips and Hints page with pictures, and an adjustable heat setting power cord. It’s a nice product, it seems well made so I cannot wait to start using it. It is the perfect size for either a family of four-six and also nice for an individual, especially if you’re into meal prepping. I will be cooking my week’s worth of Chicken, Steak, broccoli, rice, etc. on Sunday. I can also cook breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and even biscuits or French toast. One thing I will love to cook will be those big bags of Asian meals, casseroles like a family favorite of Chicken and rice with Cream of mushroom sauce. Needless to say, I highly recommend this skillet, it’s affordable and it came in, in less than a week during a government shutdown down. I love Amazon’s convenience and their many wonderful products. I’m 65, retired so I love not having to go out all of the time for the things I need. I downsized to my RV and so convenience as well as space saving are important. The easy clean up certainly appeals to me also. I recommend this product.

I use this electric skillet all the time for everything (sauteeing, browning, stewing, frying, braising, grilling, warming). It heats up and cools down much faster than my glass top stove does, so it’s easier to adjust the heat. The nonstick coating is non-toxic, remains nonstick after many uses and washings, and the whole pan is very easy to clean. I only use silicone utensils (no metal), hand wash it, and it’s still like new. Although the description says it heats evenly, it does get hotter over the round element, so browning requires frequent rearranging. I love the turquoise color.

I've had one of these for a while now and figured I could give it a review. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much but I have been pleasantly surprised. The non-stick surface has proven to be more durable than another skilled that's round which has been made famous by a social media meal prep influencer. I liked the other product as well and can easily see a use for both that and this in my kitchen. I think this product has proven a good value for the money I paid for it, the size or footprint is a little smaller than I would have liked but hey, it gets to temperature fairly quickly and seems to hold temperature with stability which makes cooking a lot better when what you're cooking with can hold temperature. I meal prep every Sunday for the whole week ahead and use this to warm up my meals instead of the microwave. I can honestly say I have used it every single day since I got it and it hasn't let me down yet. The smaller size makes it very much going with me on vacation as I like to cook with my own kitchen ware not what other people have used at a rental.

I’m nearing the end of my first year with this pan. It has gotten a lot of use and has held up beautifully. It cleans up with no effort and I have used a Scotch-Brite pad on it regularly. There are no scratches or stains on the surface. I’m giving it four stars because it heats a little unevenly-the outer edges seem hotter than the middle (which seems odd). However, I have had several electric skillets over the past 50 years and none have had consistently even heating-you just have to learn the quirks of the particular pan. For the price point, I think this pan is a great buy.

This is a great product. I can make one skillet meals, fry up a burger or make pancakes all on one appliance instead of a a stovetop skillet, an indoor grill and a griddle. Less to store, easy to use temperature control and very easy to wash with nonstick interior!! Great size for singles like me.

This is the best cooking appliance ive ever bought. Cooks chicken breasts in less than 10 min. Non-stick and cleans very easy in 2 minutes. Ceramic as well which is non-toxic. I even cook steak on it. Id give it 6 stars if I could and for the price its well worth it. Might buy a 2nd one to cook more.

Great everyday frying pan. Heats evenly and no issues with uneven cooking in dishes prepared. Numbers on dial could be easier to read.
