I would recommend this product and would purchase it again. I know there are cheaper options out there, but I wanted something that I could use year after year. The quality and material are very good I don't expect with our mild Missouri winters I will ever have to buy another one. I'm disabled and I found it very easy and quick to put on with no instructions needed. I found the quality, weight, and fit good enough having the straps like some other models have that attach to the tire's rims would be pointless. It fit our Honda Accord perfectly. We had no issues with it sticking to the vehicle due to ice. No ice or snow got under it and on the windshield. Fully covered our windshield including the windshield wipers. One person could easily put this on by themselves. Secures well enough to the vehicle short of a tornado or hurricane I don't think wind will be an issue.

Works great. Had to buy another one. When I took off the loops when it was frozen rain. The elastic broke that went around the mirror to severe to window. So I turned it in and got a replacement. I dont use the mirror elastic now. It secures well in jam of door.

During snowcrete 2026 this worked like a charm. Windshield stayed clear while rest of truck was covered in ice. Size was a few inches short to fit ideally across a Yukon - 4" to 6" would be better; 12" to be best. But it did do the job. Because it was short, it was awkward for it to fit around mirrors but generally easy to use.

From skid steer loaders to boots every Caterpillar product I've used has been well-designed and durable. That's the reason I bought this product and I wasn't disappointed. You won't be either. 1) Fabric materials are tough, easy to handle, don't stick to to the windshield. 2) Literally seconds to put on and take off. Zero fiddling to get into the right position. 3) Snow on the cover? LOTS of snow? Just hold one of the mirror handles to draw the whole cover on an angle to the other side & all the snow falls to the ground, not on the hood or windshield. 4) Worth every penny for the elimination , total elimination, of time spent brushing, scraping and warming up the windshield. 5) I've only had it for 7 days - have used it every single day, saved the usual 10 minutes in a dark 4:30 am for an hour plus of time saved. The plus is because we had a one night February thaw with rain, flowed by sleet, followed by snow and sub-zero wind chill. Ordinarily my windshield would have been a ROYAL PAIN of thick ice that would have taken a lot of time and effort to remove. Not so with this thing! I flung its frozen self to one side where shards of frozen stuff cracked and dropped and my windshield was dry and clear! DRY & CLEAR, I tell you! I have a Honda CRV and the cover is a little large. But better large than small. It does the job!

I purchased this CAT for its large size to cover the large windshield of my mid-size SUV. When it arrived, it appeared to be a stout product. However, after 1.5 winters in the far north, the underside fabric began chipping off. It is deteriorating. I'd also bought a bit smaller cover by EcoNour for our other car. It has weathered those winters well with no deterioration. I am now purchasing XXL from them for my mid-size SUV to replace the CAT brand. I also prefer handling the more supple fabric of the EcoNour.

This barely fits my Ram 1500, it ‘just’ fits. An inch or 2 more would be nice. This is high quality and heavy duty, as expected from CAT. The other brands I’ve tried were not as good. I’m happy with this one, it will last a long time. UPDATE: Elastic around the mirror broke after first use. The material was cold and it just broke. See last pic, Other than those elastic bands around the mirror, this is heavy duty. Not sure yet if I’ll keep it or return/replace it….

Just big enough to stretch across the windscreen of the Silverado 1500

Einfach nur perfekt. Für einen Passat B7 nur ein kleines Stück zu breit, aber vertretbar und trotz alledem sehr wirksam. Hat mich bis jetzt durch den ganzen Winter begleitet und mich wunderbar überrascht, wie schnell fahrbereit mein Auto ist.

Schutz für alle Jahreszeiten nur bedingt.Habe es in erster Linie als Sonnenschutz nehmen wollen, der Hersteller wirbt ja als Schutz für alle Wetterbedingungen. Aber natürlich heizt sich schwarz auf und die Temperatur überträgt sich auf die Windschutzscheibe, die Scheibe wird sehr heiß von innen...also Vorsicht mit kalter Temperatur von der Klima direkt auf die Windschutzscheibe. Schutz vor Frost kann ich noch nicht beurteilen...haben ja gerade über 30 Grad in Deutschland, ich denke aber dass es gut hilft gegen zugefrorener Windschutzscheibe ( habe aber eh eine Frontscheibenheizung). Die Abdeckung passt sehr gut von den Abmessungen für meinen Ford Ranger, sieht wertig aus und lässt sich gut anbringen. Eine Tasche ist auch dabei, aber wer möchte die Abdeckung da schon immer reinfummeln, für mich also überflüssig. Also nur 4 Sterne aufgrund der Hitzeübertragung auf die Frontscheibe....auch wenn ich es mir schon gedacht habe.
