Led by captain Dustin Brown, dynamic forward Anze Kopitar, goaltender Jonathan Quick, and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Justin Williams - Los Angeles defeated both of their Californian rivals (San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks), upset the defending Stanley Cup Champions (Chicago Blackhawks), and outlasted the Eastern Conference Champions (New York Rangers) en route to hoisting the most coveted trophy in sports - the Stanley Cup.

I've been a huge Kings fan since 1988 when the Great One headed west
We are all Kings, for sure, and this video does them and all of us Los Angelenos justice. I've been a huge Kings fan since 1988 when the Great One headed west. This disc was better than the 2012 bd I bought as well. One of the extras includes a summary of all 16 teams in the playoffs and the highlights of the series and progression to Lord Stanley's finale. This extra alone was about an hour and was really cool. This dvd/bd is definitely worth it, even if you pay twice the price! Only complaint was the horrible personality interviewing some of the players in another extra included on the disc. It was so great to see the players in street clothes (ok, Kings black polos!) and hear them speak and interact with each other and the interviewer (they were interviewed in groups of 2-3, in their O or D lines). Another really cool extra for sure and I am glad it was included. BUT the interview was so ping pongy with no personality or follow-up questions. I should have been conducting it! The interviewer was very black and white and move on to the next. Kinda lame; these interviews could have been so much better so easily. But that really was only complaint. The main event was done quite well, which is why I focused on the extras as even these were worthy. Thank you to the production team for sure!GKG!! GKG!! GKG!!

Historic.
So many great moments during the run for their 2nd Stanley Cup Championship in 3 years. From being the only 4th team in history to come back 3-0 in the series against the Sharks to beating the big city on the east coast, it has it all. This run also has the first playoff series against the Ducks. The rematch against the defending 2013 champion Blackhawks had so many comebacks. This bluray will keep you entertained as the Kings face 3 game 7 elimination rounds en route to face off against the New York Rangers. Sure to be watched yearly as with the 2012 blu ray. Here's hoping they can repeat in 2015.

Hate on haters, my beloved Kings have The Cup AGAIN!!!
What's not to love? The Kings waited 45 years to win The Cup, and then won their 2nd two years later! I personally waited 38 years, and when I was in a coma & almost died in 2006, I thought I might never get to see my beloved Kings win The Cup. Now I've seen them win TWO!! No matter what happens in the future, when my time comes, I will die a happy man!

Great for what it is !
I was initially disappointed when I bought this and found that it did not include the actual game only highlights! While I really wish it had full game footage this is the only negative. What you do get is an amazing summary of the journey that lets you relive the season and the triumph all over again. This disc is great for any Kings fan.

Love it. Get it
If you're a die-hard fan of the Los Angeles Kings, and you don't have this, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?It chronicles the run for the cup, starting with the disappointing loss to the Blackhawks in the conference finals of the previous year, which only serves to make the satisfaction of beating them on the way to the championship that much sweeter.I've watched it several times. Love it. Get it.

Go Kings!
As a newcomer to LA and relatively recent Kings fan, what's not to like?! Went to at least one game in each of the final series so I feel I was part of it. Nice to know what it's like to win a cup especially as a transplanted Leaf fan who has suffered with mediocrity for most of my childhood and adult life. Go Kings!

Kings Win Again
This is a must have for any Kings fan and really for any fan of the NHL. It is a great snap shot of the Kings run to the Cup. Being a life long fan and a King season ticket holder it was a great way to relive a really exciting time. Great footage and some great dialogue from the players.
