Are these really 37 db? Saw another noise reduction headset that claimed it was one thing and the comments under it stated that it wasn't

the description for these says 34-37dB in some places, then just 37 in others. The "37" is probably only at certain frequencies, whereas the average noise reduction across all frequencies could be anywhere between 34 and 37dB. NRR is a sneaky average rating that companies can report without saying much about the specific properties of the hearing protection.

Will these adjust to fit someone with a large head?

They sell an extra large for those of us with massive pumpkins on top of our shoulders. Make sure you choose the Extra Large if you have a big head. I wear a 7 & 5/8 hat and the Extra Large fits me without issue. My wife's pink ones in large are tight. Hope that helps

Considering these for woodworking with power tools. Would they fit comfortably over safety glasses?

I use them strictly for woodworking. Mostly with my jointer and planer. Put your safety glasses on first then the ear muffs over them. Very comfortable fit.
