How long can I expect each pen to last?

I LOVE this Zebra 301 pen. I've had one in my check book for over ten years. I was really sad when it finally ran out of ink. SOOO delighted to fine them on Amazon, I ordered 4! I'm 77 so If I calculate right, they should last me until I'm 117!

The grip - which I take to mean the approx 1" black section near the point end - is hard plastic, the same diameter as the metallic barrel, and I find it comfortable. It is textured to stop slipping by the fingers. Importantly, the CLIP is metal. Great feature. (How many pens have you had with a plastic clip that breaks off?) Most important is the quality of the ink. Very smooth writing. As for the grip, I prefer it to be the same diameter as the barrel - I don't like more bulky ones. I really like this pen.
