Saline mist is an excellent, quick , easy way to flush your nose of particles in the air, dander, pollen, dust etc. It’s easier than using a Neti- pot and really effective! It moisturizes your nasal passages and helps to aid in breathing better . I have sinus problems and when using the saline mist it helps to give relief from pain and pressure. It is very safe and has no chemicals. I use this and I use a nasal antihistamine to aid me with my breathing and sinuses. I can highly recommend the saline mist to help as a safe and effective treatment.

I don't have bad allergies or anything, certain times of the year, I'll get a sneezing fit. However, with the cold here in the Midwest now, my heat has been on more, it's very dry. I thought I might be getting a sinus infection. Because I am on blood pressure medicines, even some over the counter allergy meds not great for me. My lungs were congested. My nose was bleeding slightly from the dryness. After reading reviews about Simply Saline, I thought what the heck? Saline, not lots of dangerous chemicals. HUGE difference. I can use throughout the day and I use a couple times at night and just before bed. I also have a small air purifier by my bed and change my AC filters often, but that had not made enough of a difference. THIS DID. So if you're on the fence, want to try something that isn't full of chemicals (CAVEAT if you DO think you have a full blown sinus infection, I didn't, I would say go to your doctor first) and can mess with your meds, your sleep, I found this SO WORTH IT. BOTTOMLINE: Will get again, but the bottle IS MUCH BIGGER than most bottles of saline so lasts longer. Also read the simple instructions on the back as it gives you a couple options. I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER even with the dry winter heat on in my home.

I live in the hot arid dusty desert and throughout the year I battle dryness and an irritable nose. I agree with some other reviewers, the protective shrink wrap on the bottle is annoying to remove and it comes off in strips instead of all at once. As far as the product itself is concerned, the mist is very fine and gets way up in there. One gripe, the plunger mechanism is not for the undexterous, it takes some practice and some effort. It’s a good product other than those two minuses. It definitely helps.

I have been struggling for about 3 years with irritated sinuses/nasal passages which are usually swollen totally shut on one side, half shut the other. I've tried extra vacuuming and an air purifier (to reduce dust mites, pet dander etc) and antihistamines both sprays and pills, but it all did nothing- apparently not allergies. I tried several types of steroid sprays, which only helped a tiny bit and increased nosebleeds. I like Dristan but if I use it more than twice a week I get rebound congestion, and it leaves the passages TOO dry and open, so every little dust mote irritates. I have seen two ENTs and am on a waiting list to get turbinate reduction by cauterization, which I am scared to do because it requires general anaesthetic. And now thanks to this stuff I think I might decline that surgery! Of course I tried saline MIST first thing of all. It only helps a little. And I tried a Neti pot but that irritated my passages terribly so they clamped shut painfully for over 24h, both times I tried. So I'm not even sure what made me impulsively toss this in my cart. But it is DIFFERENT! It sprays a bigger amount than the mist but way, way smaller amount than the Neti. Just right. It lands where it should, not running down your throat, out your nose, or into your lungs. It seems to hit right where I have inadequate natural lubrication (ok "crusty snot" if you must lol) and in a minute or two, mixes into what is there, increasing its volume so it can be blown out, and some will remain for soothing the surfaces, leaving my passages happy for many hours. Just ideal! It is the perfect recipe for me too, lacking the chemical smell/taste some saline mist has, and not too salty like the mix that came with my Neti. WAY healthier than Dristan, steroids etc. For the past few days, I have been breathing out of two wide-open, noninflamed nostrils for the first time in years! I have not bothered using my expensive prescription steroid spray, or any other products, since getting this. I really can't overstate how lifechanging this stuff is! I am hopeful for various health improvements because I will no longer have insomnia and shallow sleep from blocked nose. I mean it seems sensible to assume being well rested might help mood, digestion etc. Time will tell. I'M SO STOKED! I never imagined I would be this excited over a simple bottle of saline. I am sure not every nose has exactly the same needs so maybe it won't work this well for you, but it is worth a try, especially since it is cheap It is a much bigger volume than the saline mists. But not only that, I assume you use way more of each bottle too. With the mists, because it sucks in air after each squeeze, it gets micobes inside, imho. Mine tend to start smelling mildewy in a couple months and need replacing for freshness, when maybe 1/4 used. Because this bottle uses aerosol it does not suck in any air and so should remain sterile, allowing safe use of the entire bottle.

Effective

This solved my nose bleeding issues. I use it against dryness and it stopped my frequent nose bleeding within 2 days. Will definitely purchase again!

This is much better than the steroid sprays. I think I have silent reflux that was causing me to have too much mucus and post nasal drip, by adding this and alkalining the area, it feels like the mucus is lessened considerably.
