I read so many reviews about this cable and was really worried that I would get a CAT6 however I got a CAT 7. Upon opening this cable box the cable was very well put together. I inspected the entire cable and the connections, the sheeting, the markings are 100% accurate. I really like the gold connectors on the end. They fit into my router, my TV, my docking station and my computer very well and was tight. The way a cable should be. I tested this cable before running it along the wood flooring and behind bookcases, under a bed and through the wall to connect to my new TV. I tested this cable with using multiple sources before installing it. I am very surprised how this cable works. I tested this against a cat 6 and a cat 5. The speed on this cable is identical to cat 6 but much faster than a cat 5. The ping time is much less by half compared to a cat 5 and cat 6. My ping time was 3 ms on this cable. The other cables ping times where from 10 ms to 17 ms. This is a huge difference especially when your gaming and watching 4K content. With that said I highly recommend this cable to anyone. Especially for future use when routers can be 1 TB. This is a must buy cable if you’re looking for a good quality inexpensive cable that will last 10+ years. I got this cheaper than a cat 6 anyway. The best thing about this cable is that it lays flat under items and around corners without fuss. I love the clips that came with it, what a nice touch. I hope my review helps anyone who’s looking for a good cat 7 cable. By the way some reviewers said that this cable twist and turns. I have not seen that with my cable that I received. The trick is to be very careful how you unwind it before installing it. There were no twist and turns at all. It worked very well for me the very first time I laid it down.

This cable can be easily run along baseboards. It is rigid enough to maintain its shape and not get all wrinkly. But at the same time it is flexible enough that it can easily be shaped to navigate corners. This can be seen in the second photo. (I didn't have time to install the ties yet to affix it to the wall more permanently.) The cable also supports transmission at very fast speeds, which makes it suitable for transmitting video signals from room to room with excellent image quality and no perceptible (to me) latency. The cable appears to include shielding (based on the marketing images), which means there should be less interference between the lanes in the cable. Networking cables contain 2-4 lanes (each of which is a twisted pair of copper wires) that independently transmit data. So it's good to have these lanes be independently shielded. Otherwise the signals from one lane can interfere with signals in other lanes. I really like being able to play video games in both my bedroom and living room from the same PC with no perceptible (to me) latency. And I also don't like to clutter my living room with visible gaming equipment (consoles, PC tower, etc.). So I ran this CAT 8 cable from my living room to my bedroom, where my PC is. And I have a HDMI over CAT transmitter in my bedroom, next to my PC, and a HDMI over CAT receiver in my living room. Therefore the video signals can be sent over this CAT 8 cable. It was important for me to get a quality CAT cable like this one, since the transmitter is sending about 6 to 7 Gigabits per second of data over this cable while I am streaming games. CAT 8 cables have greatly higher bandwidth than previous cables, which can allow higher data transmission rates. The transmitters and receivers are also sending USB signals over the same CAT 8 cable, and I have an attached a USB hub in my TV cabinet. The hub has receivers attached for my mouse, keyboard and game controller. Therefore, my mouse, keyboard, and game controller in my living room are also connected to my PC in my bedroom, with no perceptible (to me) lag. The whole system works more or less perfectly. I can play video games that require precise timing (parrying, etc.) with no concerns about lag whatsoever and great image quality. This cable was a key enabler to that, since I wanted something that could be easily run along the baseboard (so not too thick, easy to bend), but that also had great shielding and components to be able to transmit at a high data rate over a longish (35 ft) distance. If you are curious, I bought my AV transmitter and receivers as a pair from AV Access on Amazon (search Amazon for ASIN:B073B84CY1 and ignore any sponsored results). I bought the USB 2.0 hub in the image elsewhere, but StarTech makes some good USB 2.0 hubs that are sold on Amazon. I like USB 2.0 hubs more than recent ones since I have heard reports that newer hubs can cause interference with USB receivers for keyboards etc due to the higher signaling rate causing interference. And I like externally powered hubs to avoid overdrawing current from the video receiver. I'm also using a HDMI splitter from AV Access so my HDMI signals from my gaming PC goes to both the TV in my bedroom, and also across this link to my living room TV. It's a Samsung QLED TV and a Mopio Ensley Tall TV stand. And I use a USB receiver from May Flash (also bought on Amazon) to allow my game controller to connect to the USB hub. Overall I'm really pleased with this setup. And this cable was a great find to help enable it to work.

I ordered the 25 ft Jadaol Cat 8 Ethernet Cable to be shipped next morning between 7am - 11am and it arrived around 8am... the product itself arrived relatively undamaged save for the top left corner; the plastic bubble Amazon shipping bag might have been dropped on the corner... no biggie, the cable arrived without any damage! When I opened the box for the cable, I was surprised how flexible and soft feeling the flat cable was when compared the previous experiences installing Round Rigid Ethernet Cables of the same relative size; Big plus... because it made installation even more simple and easy. Although I will say the flexibility might affect it's durability if the flat cable is pinched, over stretched or crushed. Time will be the ultimate test and I'll update my review on this point later on down the road, it's too early to draw final conclusions on this feature. I made sure to measure the estimated length I needed to install this cable without kinking or pinching the wire itself so my PC could have stable internet during intense Gaming Sessions instead of relying solely on a wireless connection, which boiled down to about 24 ft... the fact this product was sold in increments of 5 ft starting from 1.5, 3, 6, 10 and increased onward in increments of 5 ft or more is an awesome deal for the value of the product. If you're buying a Cat8 Ethernet cable, you're future proofing for high load signal quality; if not you're wasting your time and money on qualities not suited to your specific PC needs... that's my personal opinion ( take with a grain of salt or not, your choice ). I'll be sure to update this review in 1 years time, assuming this same product is still being listed for sale in regards to its durability!! Although nothing should affect the quality of the cable after I installed it, i even made sure to use heat resistant silicone housings, silicone fiberglass heat shielding near heat sources as well as the included pre-nailed wire anchors secured under the floor joists and above the drop ceiling in my basement!! I could have used an extra 5 feet of cable for added peace of mind, the cable is a little short exiting the 1 inch hole leading up to the elevated Router, but that's an oversight on my part; this Ethernet cable worked on the FIRST try... hence my zealous review. Hope this helps solidify someone's decision on purchasing this product !!

It’s a flat cable works perfectly spec

Good quality ethernet cable. Thick and sturdy. Doesn't look like it'll break easily and runs perfectly fine at 1Gbps speed. Have not tested for higher but I'm sure it won't have any problems. Decent price for the different lengths as well. Would recommend

Cables and connectors feel real solid in the jacks. No wiggle. Ping and latency free on my network. Love it. They clearly state on the packaging to test all cables before installing them. Unfortunately of 8 I bought, one was bad. I contacted them as instructed, received a message within 3 hours and a new cable was shipped the next morning and arrive the day following. Outstanding customer service! So impressed I ordered 4 more that day after I fully assessed my needs and decided to wire the rest of the house. The other 4 .... All perfect. I only pay for 2 Gbs from my provider, my network supports 2.5 Gbs. I'm getting 2 solid with spikes to 2.4. 1ms ping 3 ms latency
