Excellent handling and comfort (and I'm a lefty who is VERY picky about scissors/shears). The cuts are clean and sharp...no tearing. This has been used on flower stems, herbs, and meat (separating ribs) as well as normal scissors duty. It cuts through virtually everything like it's paper. These were ordered to replace a pair of scissors that came with our cutlery set that had snapped when one of our kids tried to cut a wooden dowel (don't ask)...and just for fun, we went ahead and tested these against the dowel too; we now have a pair of shorter dowels at which the shears grin malevolently.While I haven't had a real use for the bottle opener on the inside of the grips, I tested it out in preparation for this review and found them perfectly suited. Their placement within he handle makes applying the force necessary to open a small jar lid (cocktail sauce) natural and comfortable and easy on the wrist.

Scissors lasted a whole 4+ months. They are now very loose where the blades attach also causing the blades to catch. Virtually unusable after very light use for the 4+ months. Contacted customer service and was told i had to ship them at my expense. Will purchase another brand rather than pay $6-$7 dollars on a $12 pair of scissors. Rating 1 star because i can go lower

The Kitchen Shears are of high quality. However the fact they do not come apart for complete cleaning, such as in the Dishwasher is a real negative in my opinion. When dealing with meats such as Chicken and Fish I must be assured the utensils I use are completely clean.

Latest Heavy Duty Kitchen Shears - Lifetime... The word lifetime helped to buy these shears and so far seem to be quite good except the short time I have them they are pretty tight...Maybe they need a little more time to loosen up.

okay ... I have a pair of UBER good shears (the pampered chef), went to look for another pair and i died with the cost. I also have another pair of name brand shears way more expensive then these. These are the bomb. I normally use these for cutting salads and separating chicken (not at the same time) and these are as good if not better then the other two i have. I especially like the serrated edge and the addition of a lid grabber for hard to get off lids. I fully expect these to last a lifetime. Value for money you cannot beat these. and EVERYONE needs a pair in their kitchen I cannot live without mine. I makes salad making so easy. stick you greens in a bowl and anything else and chop away. I hate too big piece of salad hanging out of my mouth. i want a little bit of all of whats in it. you will not be disappointed.

I received these scissors about two weeks ago and wanted to use them several times prior to posting a review after one use. I have posted reviews after one use of kitchen scissors and was quick to update them, not in a positive light. HOWEVER, I will never buy another brand of kitchen scissors. These have been amazing for several reasons....1. My husband is left-handed and I am right, you would think these were designed specifically for each of us. For those lefties out there, you know how important this is.2. I use these several times preparing a single meal. From fresh herbs to removing fat from chicken breasts-it was a breeze.....no sawing away at anything.3. Washing between these uses was simple-I was worried since they do not come apart, but that became a non-issue.Again, very pleased-will likely buy a second pair for our camping trailer.

These shears are a little heavy and clunky. i'm not crazy about them. Yes, they are ambidextrous, but they are a bit small. I don't have Donald Trump hands.
