Did not work.
Bought a while ago but am finally using it for the first time and it doesn't work. I use Canon 7d markii. And yes I made sure to close the battery cover door.

Great Tool For Webcam Use!
Works as intended! I use this set up with my Canon 5D IV as a webcam, and it works great! Keeps the camera on through the entire meeting without fail. Overall a great product.

Actually works I was wrong
At first I wrote a review saying it does not work but then I watched a youtube video and the key to it working is keeping your battery cover on and feeding the wire through the flap on the camera
