The smart plugs are a really useful and reliable products. They do exactly as intended. It turns nonsmart small appliances or nonsmart lights into smart lights. The setup is easy. You can set timers, auto power-on or autopower-off. Even set it to turn on or off when the sun rises or sets.

These work awesome for using grow light bulbs in a normal lamp. I can set a timer and forget it, or I can use my phone to turn off the light if it, say, interferes with watching TV on a whim. Affordable, reliable, and the app is easy to use. Schedules are accurate--once you set the timer, it just works. You can set different schedules for different days, even.

It integrates seamlessly with Alexa, allowing me to set up routines like “Alexa, Bedtime,” which turns off all the lights and the TV, and “Alexa, We’re leaving,” which turns off everything except one light by the window. These routines make my daily life more convenient and efficient.The plug has been reliable and works exactly as expected. However, its size is a drawback—it covers the second outlet regardless of which one you use, which can be frustrating when you need access to both outlets. This design issue is the main reason I’ve rated it four stars instead of five.Overall, the Govee Smart Plug is a great product that I enjoy using daily. It’s reliable, easy to set up, and integrates well with smart home systems. I just wish it had a smaller footprint to make it even more convenient.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Integrates and works well with Govee LED lights. Was having issues with LED 'ghosting', where the LED's would remain faintly 'on' even when off due to their need for only tiny amounts of electricity to illuminate. This Smart Plug completely eliminated the issue and still allowed me to keep my lights on a timer. Love the seamless integration!!

This is a surprisingly good smart plug, especially for the price. The setup was quick and easy, the app is intuitive, and it does everything I need it to do. It works well with Amazon Alexa which I have set up in my home. I bought this to use as on/off timer for a fish tank light and it does everything I need it do. I would definitely recommend this product, it seems just as capable as other smart plugs while also being cheaper.

I t works wonderfully for small projects such as small fans and diffusers or even small water fountains that may not have shut off buttons. Alexa, set up quickly and follow functions without hesitation.
