kids' wetsuit - unique 5 mm neoprene shorty - extremely insulating and elastic for kids age 3-14

Bought the 5-6 year for a 4 year old and the 7-8 for a 6 year old (both average size kids). When they first tried the suits on I was unsure that they fit as they looked a little too snug. However after around 30 minutes of wearing them the suits seemed to relax and mold to their body. Both children said they were much more comfortable and seemed to fit perfectly. The material is so much thicker than the others but that does not mean they are more restrictive because they are not. The children have no problems swimming and moving around. The suits are extremely well made and are comparable to those that cost inexcess of £100 and more. The children have swan both in the sea (UK) and our above ground unheated pool and have remained warm and dry. The zip has a handy strap that allows the children to get in and out of the suits by themselves. There is also a velcro fastening at the back of the collar for extra protection and although I have read several reviews about the poor quality zip and zips breaking easily I can honestly say that up to date we have not had a problem with the zips, in fact they are exactly the same as the other zips on their old wet suits. I am very please with my purchase

These shorties are very thick and warm, the kids love them because they can put on:take off easily by themselves. Use them in both outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

For kids who still love water no matter the weather these thicker, high quality wetsuits are a must have item. Much better quality than other wetsuits I have seen available for this size/age and this really makes a difference when the water is cold. They can have fun for longer and no blue lips! Can't fault it.

So disappointed. Thought I had found the perfect kids wetsuit. 5mm shorty, easy to get on and off, keeps the core beautifully warm, allows really easy movement in the sea, but.... The zipper is made from plastic?! Why would they compromise on this most important detail when everything else is so perfect?! Ordered 2 is these but both failed in exactly the same way. I have attached photos so you can see where the plastic has failed, precisely where it needs to be strongest and be able to cope with the force of a child zipping and unzipping themselves. If a metal unit had been used, like every other wetsuit on the market, this would be 5 stars. So instead we are back to using a 3/2mm Aldi full childs wetsuit.

This was almost perfect. The thickness and flexibility suited my child. I was disappointed that the zip broke after a few wears. It isn't very strong. we managed to get a replacement zip. So be careful when closing it.

Had to order a sizer smaller. Seller was great and replaced one defective item. Now i have the right size for my kids. Really happy.

Definitely kept my son warm. However too thick for swim lessons. This kept him afloat without effort from him and thereby doesn’t teach him to swim. We ended up going with a 2mm suit and keeps him warm enough for lessons

Toller Anzug. Mein Sohn friert total im Schwimmkurs und mit dem Anzug nicht mehr. Er hatte ihn das 1. mal an und sagte es ist ihm sogar etwas warm. Toller Anzug. Ist ein langer Bendel am Rücken so dass die Kinder ihn selbst auf und zu machen können. Hals ist etwas eng aber wir lassen einfach ein Stück den Reisverschluss offen. Mein Sohn ist 1,14m und wiegt 18 Kilo. Eher schlank. Kleidergröße 116/122. aber hier passt super Größe 104. sonst wäre er viel zu groß und hält auch nicht so warm. Echt sein Preis wert.

We tested out the suit in the shower. It's a good quality, high-tensile neoprene, nicely snug and insular. The fabric is fairly thick and durable. Water didn't get inside. The zipper has a flange that partially covers it, and a pull "tail" to make getting it off easier. Like any real wetsuit it was a challenge to shimmy into, but once my 9 year old got it on he didn't want to take it off. He likened it to wearing Kevlar. This will definitely keep sand on the beach and not in his suit. I like the contrasting colors at the neckline and shoulders. To get out of it I helped him get one arm out then he was able to do the rest. Overall good value.

Acquistata per il corso di nuoto di mio figlio di 3 anni (primo approccio con il nuoto in vasca) che pativa il freddo e non riusciva a completare la lezione, adesso esce a malincuore dall acqua. Facilità nell indossare la muta e nel toglierla quando è bagnata grazie alla profonda zip sul retro. Lavaggio a mano con acqua dolce senza saponi, la asciugo all aria dentro la doccia, 1 notte ed è asciutta. Mis 104cm leggermente piu grande del dovuto ma non è un problema poiche aderisce comunque bene salvo nei polpacci e nelle braccia; visto il costo (giustificato dalla qualità) la potremo usare per 2 anni circa. Consigliata anche alle altre mamme della piscina che l hanno acquistata per i loro bimbi.
