Q: Is this paper thin or more like regular copy paper. I need lightweight, thinner than regular copy paper. Thank you.

Rice paper by its very nature is very thin. This is nice rice paper.

Q: When printing for decoupage, do you use laser jet or ink jet? Thank you in advance.

I do decoupage too...and I have an ink jet printer. I found a way to make any copy paper and this brand of rice paper colorfast. Print the image. Put it in a 200*F oven for 10 minutes, putting a piece of baking parchment paper on the oven rack. Once cool...like a minute...coat the image with Mod Podge or your favorite glue. Don't scrape the brush back & forth. Coat the image, pressing LIGHTLY AND QUICKLY, so it's covered, stroking in one direction. It's still paper after all...and too much goop will soak in and bubble the paper. I use a foam brush. Once it's dry, you can add a second layer, but I don't find it necessary. At that point, you can cut it to apply flat, or make cuts to fit on a curved surface, like an ornament. For my purposes, I didn't change the printer settings to "best print". For the images I printed off a PDF (Christmas images), the normal print setting worked just find. Depending on your printer, you may have to doctor up the settings. I hope this helps!
