Awesome Bottle!
I recently replaced the leaky diff cover on my 02 Silverado with a larger capacity cover that has a drain and fill plug. I usually use Amsoil but did not have the time to go to my local distributor to pick it up. I ordered 4 quarts of Ravenol J1C1109 from Amazon and received them in two days. It seems to be a very high quality product. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the bottles have a built in pull out 6 inch tube which made filling the diff a breeze. Time will only tell as to the quality of the product. I will determine that at the next service interval.

Perfect for E90 BMW with open differential. BMW SAF-XO spec.
Good stuff. Specs are perfect for my E90 BMW 325i with open differential. I agree the cap is over engineered but you can easily remove the clear plastic extension so you can use a wide transfer pump hose which is preferred. At the same time, for a manual transmission flush, the over engineered cap works perfect....buy the synthetic 75W oil for a MTF. Car shifts easier...less "rubbery" as described in my Bimmer blogs. Enjoy.

Should have used the first time
I switched to this after three months of a different lube, this is working out much better for me and shifts like OEM at a fraction of what Toyota wants. 2018 Taco 6 speed manual. Have the same brand in my transfer case and all is good.

Very affordable, easy to use and recommended
Apr 2021 Pros: Recommended and proven in the Porsche community for differential and transfer case gear oil (post warranty). Much, much cheaper than official Porsche fluids. Built-in pour tube and squeeze bottle. Visible fluid level with ml markings so you can measure how much you’ve added. Cons: built-in spout/tube isn’t very long. Squeeze bottle can be tricky to get all the oil out. Stinks and you’ll have the smell in your nose for the entire day. Bottle seems to be designed so you cannot remove the cap in order to use your own 1L oil pump adapter. I’ve recently flushed both my front and rear differential on my 2012 Cayenne. The built-in pour spout was helpful on the rear diff, but the squeeze method of the bottle was frustrating. TIP: make sure the tube isn’t so far into the differential that it can’t suck-in air after you squeeze. Getting that return air is key to the bottles next squeeze operation. Due the crazy location of the fill hole on the front diff, the pour spout wouldn’t work. I figure I’d just use my 1L oil pump adapter with a longer tube. However, for the life of me, I could not figure out a way to unscrew the cap. Ravenol seems to have designed the bottle so you cannot take off the cap and you must use the built-in pour spout/squeeze method. So I had to squeeze out all the oil into another container in order to use my own pump with a longer tube. Finally, no magical after-affects. No testimonials. It’s freakin gear oil people. It works. It’s affordable. It wears out and gets replaced. Good enough for me.

Alternative to Porsche OEM
I bought this as an alternative to Porsche OEM for my 2011 Cayenne Turbo. I changed my differential fluid at 50,000 as a preventative due to age. Meets all of the specs and based upon web search, this is a great alternative. Time will tell.

The best there is.
I'm meticulous when it comes to maintaining what I drive. I change the fluids on the front differential, rear differential and transfer case every 25K miles and Ravenol is the only fluid I opt for now. Ravenol is some of the best fluids on the market for your vehicle, when applicable.

Handy spout
Pleased with the oil. The spout was a surprise. It extends out. I did not meet a pump as I had expected.

Great oil
Works great for our 2006 Xterra with an open diff. Just remember, you need 2 bottles
