Cable Matters Ground Loop Isolator 3.5mm Noise Isolator Hum Eliminator for Car Audio and More

For those of you who like to charge your phone and have it connected to the stereo, you might come across a whining noise, if you have the volume high enough. well, as the name says it all, this filter removes that whining noise, so you can have your podcast, music, or aux device while charging it in the car.

So here was my situation. I got a set of JBL LSR305s hooked up to a Minifuse 2. Had no issues as I got some nice shielded cables for it. Zero noise or hum. But recently saw a sale on a Monoprice sub so I decided to grab it as the sale was very nice. Sadly the inputs and outputs on the sub are RCA and my cables wouldn't work. So I got some new cables well reviewed on Amazon by a brand called Pig Hog. Well it didn't work out as intended. Very loud hum with the sub set to 80hz crossover. Like it sounded like I had an indoor air unit sitting under my desk. But with some investigation I found that it wasn't the cables. So I went back to hooking up my JBLs with their original cables that I had, hum is gone there, then I used the headphone out put to go into the sub giving me a way of controlling sub level without reaching under the desk using a trs to rca cable I had around. But while the hum was gone on the JBLs it was still very there on the sub. And thats where this guy comes in. Received it yesterday and after putting on the line to the sub all the hum is gone. Worked as intended for me. Great product.

Gets rid of the buzz nicely!

Works great! I bought it for my after market bluetooth that plugs into my radio. It's kind of cumbersome with it just hanging down, but it does eliminate the noise through the speakers that is usually there.

I have a pair of Yamaha NX-50 speakers that let me plug in two 3.5mm audio sources and play them at the same time, which is nice for when I want to watch a video on my computer while playing, say, my Switch on the other monitor. The problem is that there would often be a static noise coming from the speakers whenever both sources were in use at the same time. I finally decided to give a ground loop isolator a shot, saw this brand, and grabbed it because I've had good luck with their cables. Sure enough, it works! I don't hear any noise any more. Should've grabbed one sooner.

My trucks aux had a hum and it would get louder as I accelerated however it did not help at all it made the hum worse I need a refund asap

The speaker must be actively playing audio (green light) when you turn it off, otherwise you get loud pops, it can't be on standby mode (red light).

Literally like night and day completely took away. Any feedback or static I had on aux!

Bought this in December 2022. June 2023 device failed, but took time for me to realise it was this making my sound garbage. After messing with drivers in my audigy 5 and cleaning out the card, reseating, etc.. finally decided to unplug this from my headphones and plug them straight.Sound quality improved by 200%. I can actually hear the notes in music now. This thing was a waste of money. Buy quality cables instead of relying on devices like this.

Lo compré para nuestro coche, sustituyendo uno que se venía con el receptor bluetooth y que se perdió. El ruido se quitó de inmediato.Me gusta que no tenga un cable integrado, sino que tiene conectores en ambos extremos. Así, si el cable se daña o quiero usar uno distinto, puedo cambiarlo.Además, lo elegí porque el cable incluido tiene un conector en ángulo. Así queda prácticamente plano en el tablero del auto y es más difícil golpearlo.

Ich habe einen carplay in meinen alten Zafira eingebaut und diesen über den aux-anschluss verbunden. Leider hatte ich immer Störgeräusche beim Musik hören. Ich habe nun den entstörkondensator dazwischen geschaltet und die Störgeräusche sind weg.
