Pros: Works amazingly. Used to mount dashcam on dashboard. Has not come loose like every other 3m I've used. Cons: I found that once I placed it on the mount for my dashcam (without the dashcam mounted) and then stick to the dashboard it felt loose at first. Bbuuttttttt after 24 hours, slid solid as a rock. I'd attach it, place something heavy on it for a couple hours, and then attach whatever.

They have very good adhesive. I little hard to get off on one side. I have to use a knife to get it off. You can cut to the size you need.

I’m really impressed with Scotch Mount Indoor Outdoor Extreme Tape Double-Sided Adhesive Strips! These strips are incredibly strong and have held up even in tough conditions. I used them to mount decorations both inside my home and on exterior surfaces, and everything stayed perfectly in place. This tape did not perform as stated for my outside front door. It does not even hold the weather strip for my inside door. I will keep trying to find a use for it. Maybe something that does not require being moved around. It is sticky, but not for what I purchased it.

Scotch Mounting Tape didn’t hold up as expected. I used it for a simple power strip mounting job, and maybe a day after, it started losing adhesion. It might work for very light items, but anything with a bit of weight doesn’t stay secure for long. Surface prep was done properly, so it wasn’t an application issue. Overall, it just didn’t meet expectations in terms of adhesive strength.

Update 2: Wanted to also mention that I am now trying a different product from 3M, "Sticky Adhesive Pad Replacement for Car Dashboard Magnetic Phone Mount Base, pop-tech 8pcs 3M VHB Double Sided Sticker Heat Resistance Tape for Magnet Cellphone Holder & Windshield Dash Cam." You can get it here on Amazon, ASIN B08D3LYSLZ. According to their description, it is actually made for dash cams and the like. I attached it yesterday and I am hoping this one might last a little longer. To add, I was able to remove this product from Scotch completely from my windshield and the dash cam with some pulling, fingernail scraping, and using a couple of alcohol wipes. Update 1: It held for just under 3 months, then the dash cam fell off. The tape held to the windshield, but detached from the body of the camera holder. Will have to try something else. I have a BlackVue 650 and it worked great. I did have to cut it to fit, and the red tape side was kind of hard to remove, but it has worked well for me. You do need to make sure you have it positioned correctly before you attach it, because once it is on, it is ON and cannot be moved/adjusted. I did not see many reviews that mentioned how well this might work with mounting dash cams, so I thought I would share my experience. I did clean the glass well before applying it. What I am not too sure about is how difficult it will be to remove it when that day comes, but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I live in a warm climate area with a lot of hot sun, so I will see how long it lasts. If I run into any issues, I will update this review. I hope it helped, thanks for reading!

Tried many mounting strips to try to get a board up, and so far these are the winners. easy application and stays so well.

This is supposed to be able to hold 12lbs or something but it couldn’t keep my dashcam stuck to my wind shield. Total disaster

Llevo utilizando este producto ya un tiempo y lo he utilizado para diferentes propósitos y he estado realizando pruebas con el mismo. El producto indica que 1 tira resiste aproximadamente 600 gramos de peso (0.6 Kg), por lo que lo utilice para pegar en una superficie totalmente lisa un multicontacto y unos cargadores pesan mas o menos 400 gramos y hasta ahora lo ha resistido y mantenido muy bien adheridos a esa superficie totalmente lisa. Utilice 4 tiras para hacer una prueba de peso, adherí a una pared totalmente lisa una caja de plástico con paredes totalmente planas y lisas, coloque varios objetos y las 4 tiras resistieron aproximadamente un peso de casi 3 kg. Mi observación, es que este producto es muy bueno para adherirse a la superficie que desees, solo que si es recomendable que sea totalmente lisa y que este previamente limpia, lo intenté en superficies más o menos rugosas pero, no tiene la misma adherencia.
