This medal was Blessed by Pope Benedict XVI on the 3rd Sunday of Easter, 30 April 2006 at the Vatican in Rome, Italy. A laminated parchment of the Blessing given is included. I am not selling the Blessing. The blessing I give to you. Also because this item was Blessed at a Sunday Mass held in Saint Peter's Square there is no audience ticket given out. I am including a copy of the Official Sermon given by Pope Benedict XVI on this Sunday entitled "Regina Caeli" which was put out by the Vatican on 30 April 2006. Also included is a copy of the Regina Caeli ( Queen of Heaven) prayer that was said by Pope Benedict XVI in conjunction with his sermon along with a photo card of the Pope and a velour bag. Unfortunately there are sellers on Amazon whom claimed their items are Blessed when they aren't. To verify that an item is Blessed look for documentation on a seller's listing such as a ticket from the Audience at the Vatican which has a number only the seller can have or if a item is blessed at a sermon then ask to see a custom slip issued by the USPS or from Italy which shows that the items have been in Italy at the time they claimed they were blessed.. One cannot get items in and out of Italy without a custom slip detailing what a person is bringing to or from whether it is one item or a hundred. If they can't provide one then the items haven't been blessed. Also it should be noted that the Vatican does not issue Certificates of Authenticity for items that are Blessed by the Pope. Also if they claim they go to Italy quite frequently ask to see their passport which would have the information on when they went. If they refuse to show you then it would be questionable if a Papal Blessing was obtained as claimed. I also recommend checking out their other listings to see what kind of items they sell which can say alot about the seller. Plus get their real name not their username. I always google a seller's real name if I question whether their items truly are blessed.
