Still going strong
Turned it on about a month ago and it's been running just fine ever since. The 3500 GPH was perfect for the waterfalls I just built. I did lots of research to get the correct size. I did all the calculations and was conservative on all the numbers by rounding up. I wanted more volume rather than less. Glad I did. Obviously I will change my evaluation if it conks out any time soon.

Great for the money
We needed a new pump for our outdoor waterfall and decided to give this a try as the price seemed really good. So far, it’s working great! Very happy and hoping it will last a few years or more.

They sent a more expensive pump. This nullified the extra warranty I purchased.
I installed it in my koi pond and it is working great. What I received from them was a Big Frog brand pump.

Not half the value
I have use tsurumi pumps for over a decade. These pumps are not quite as powerful, and maybe not quite as well built....but they are close, and at a very attractive price. They also draw slightly fewer amps, which is a fair trade for slightly fewer GPH... I'm a fan

Works as advertised
I used this pump to replace a similar but different brand single speed pump that pumped too much water but would not work with a speed control. With the speed control recommended to go with the unit I have infinite control of the GPH. This pump is also much quieter than the pump I removed.

Possible used/returned unit unit?
My initial unpacking it appears to be a used/returned unit as there was no internal packaging. Let’s see how it works or if I decide to return it

Waterfall pump works great
Bought over a month ago. This pump is used on a large pond for a waterfall feature. It was simple to install and has been working for over a month now with no problems.
