They can hold things together in a variety of ways. And the Velcro holds very well. . These straps are versatile and I will keep them handy by my tools, luggage and in the car. I think they would be great for camping and hiking gear.

These have very strong velcro connections. I have one on my power cord for my smoker. The clip works great to store it on the back of the grill. Super durable and holds a lot of weight. Many uses for these!
