Works really good....lasts long before a recharge.

I bought two of these batteries for recliners in my living room a year ago. One of them has worked well, charges overnight and holds a charge for a reasonable period of time. The other fails to charge beyond 35 percent, even when plugged in for more than 48 hours and loses its charge quickly. I tried to contact customer support about things I might try to get the unit to charge properly and no response. Extremely disappointing for a unit that is this expensive!! I would consider other options based on my experience.

So far, this battery is working well. Lasts us about 8 days before a recharge is needed. It has a low battery warning but if it goes off the battery is dead; does give much warning. It takes 5-6 hours to charge. I also bought 2500 mah as back up to use during charging.

I suffered for at least two years without this battery backup. I live in the house where if the wind blows, we lose electricity. My biggest fear was getting stuck in my electric recliner. Yes my gears came true it happened once !! I never thought of it but when we bought the furniture did not think of having a battery back up. I didn’t even know it existed until someone at work mentioned their furniture had a battery back up! When I went back to the furniture store where I made the original purchase, they did not offer a battery backup or an alternative. After a long stretch of storms and losing electricity many times, I finally broke down and searched for a battery backup for my chair. This gives me a safety net until we get a generator. Believe me, I was not looking to spend a whole lot of money but it’s worth every penny. I leave mine plugged in and it’s ready to help rescue me from my chair if I’m in a reclined position when we lose electricity. Actually, we did last night several times. This bad boy worked like a champ. Did I mention that this thing worked right out of the box? It had enough of a charge to make my chair move when it was unplugged during set up. This made me extremely happy. My furniture is from Ashley. I have a set that includes two different sofas and a recliner. All have a charging station and are fully electric. I had to buy the 5000mAh kit. It is really compatible!! Fit perfectly. The setup was easy and took all about five minutes out of the box. Connected the chair to the battery and the battery to the outlet. I never looked back until last night when the power went out! It worked!!!

We have a small couch with 2 recliners on the ends. When our battery died we replaced it with this one. I like that you can charge it while it’s also still connected, which is very convenient. However, it hasn’t even been a month since we purchased it and it’s already had to be recharged. For the price of it, I thought it would be a bit hardier. Also, I thought there would be a sound when it was time to charge, but I never heard one. I’m not sure if my expectations are too high to have it last more than a month because there’s a lot of user unknowns (how many times we reclined, if we were home when it beeped, etc). Our last battery had to be charged every couple of days at the end there, so this still feels light years better as far as longevity. Overall, I’d say I do like this one better than the former one we owned, if for nothing other than the convenience of charging while operational. So, if you can spend the money, it seems like a solid investment.

This battery holds a charge for so much longer than the original battery I bought at my furniture store. I have a recliner & 2 reclining ends on a couch hooked up to this. While it does take a long time to recharge the battery, it gives you a percentage charged on the display. And, it lasts so long that it is worth it. Would purchase again.

We bought this battery pack for the occasions when there is a power outage. Once I plug it in during an outage, I leave it on to see how long it would last. The first time, it lasted three weeks. Excellent! The second time it lasted about 10 days. Not too bad! The third time it lasted a week. And this last time, it lasted two days. These 4 occurrences were spread over a year. So while I was initially happy with it, it’s no longer dependable. For a product that has only been charged and used four times, it has turned out to be a waste of money. I will have to buy something different. If you’re buying this to use consistently, I worry that you will be quickly disappointed.

This item was a little pricey with that being said I was not too happy with this product. After being charged, it only lasted for like six hours or maybe not even.
