Coty Vanilla Musk for Women Cologne Spray, 1 Fl Oz

This scent is so painfully nostalgic, and for some reason, reminds me of the early 2000s. I do not know if it is because it somewhat resembles Body Fantasies white musk, or some popular vanilla based fragrances at the time. Either way, I am completely enamored with this fragrance. It definitely lasts longer if you spray it on your clothes and settles down nicely this way too. I smell a true sweet vanilla, definitely leaning more gourmand than what I was reading in any of the other reviews across the Internet . It is then followed by a soft spiciness and a really nice clean cedar note. As the hours linger on, it settles into that more powdery vanilla musk that is frequently described. It is a surprisingly beautiful scent for the price point and the bit that I have sprayed on my clothes has lasted into the next day. I would recommend this as a scent you wear either on its own or layered with other similar scents like a white musk or something “your skin, but better” (Juliette has a gun -not a perfume, Glossier You, Clean Classic- Skin, etc) When on the skin, it does not last anywhere near as long as clothes, I would say on my skin it lasted a few hours, but again spraying it on clothes it would complement another perfume beautifully for an entire day. My bottle arrived unbroken and not leaking. It was packed securely with bubble wrap. It is a very pretty classy bottle. I only wish that the manufacturing information was not stamped across the front as it takes away from some of the elegance.

This item doesn't smell like vanilla; instead, it has a strong aroma. I adore the powerful vanilla aroma, but this isn't it. I definitely get migraines when I smell perfumes, and this is no exception. I regret wasting my money on this. It does not resemble the description at all. From now on, I shall only use oils
