I installed it on my gate for my privacy fence. Works great.

I built a custom bed of 3/4" plywood and wall stud lumber, that is one half a split queen. On it I put two of these to aid me in getting in and out of the bed. (I get my ab crunches getting into bed trust me). The handles were easy to install, (mark, predrill, screw onto location). Smooth contours and easy to grab and hang onto. They easily handle my 50 kg yanking on them and should give many years of use. Finish is a nice neutral soft silvery color, shape is good to grab, and the metal though it's stamp/folded (behind one can feel where the metal rolls over, this handle is 'hollow') is thick and sturdy. No 'sharp' edges obvious and the pinch points are so far in under behind, as to not be an issue. At the time I purchased, a good value to item ratio on the price. If you need a large sturdy handle for cabinet, storage door, etc, this will work fine. I cannot comment on weathering as my installation is indoors... [Edit, have bought two more times, to add a few more to the bed, and in a few other places of my house where I need a bit of steadying. There have been a few tiny bits on one that were enough to be 'sharp' but a few seconds of dremel along where the foldover seam is on the underside and just fine to the feel... keep returning to this for a nice solid handful sturdily built and easy to grab.]

I will never understand why they put handles on the outside of a fence but not on the inside! I put a handle on the inside of my gate and gave these to my son for his gates so I wouldn’t have to hold on to a two by four to open the gate from the inside. Discovered he had three gates in his fence!

I ordered 2.5 and 3 inch rubber wheels and mounted them on all my recliners and even my couch. Then I attached a handle on both sides. I drilled into the covered wood piece on each side. You do not need to drill. The screws go right in. Now you have an easily moveable recliner with large, heavy duty handles. The type of wheels that worked best for me are the "L" bracket kind. I had to install a bunch of these handles on our new privacy fence because the fence install only included one handle on each gate for some reason. These screwed onto the gates just fine and I think they look nice and get the job done. One of the handles I bought came with the packaging all covered with an orangey powder inside though. It looked like rust, so I requested an exchange before opening the package, which Amazon of course handled very well as usual. After they told me to dispose of the defective one, I opened the package to see how rusty it really was, and it was actually fine. I still don't know what the powder was, but it wiped right off and the handle was perfect.

The screws were a bit long, but otherwise a great handle. I just wish the sellers considered use of this handle in fences. I'll have to put a smallblock of wood between this and the fence to make up for the difference. I just need a cheap solution, and this even feels sturdy. Looks nice, did the job I needed, and at a great price. I have no reason to give it less than five stars. I just wish they listen the size of the screws somewhere in the listing.
