Excellent tasting tea. Irish and Scottish tea have a slight bitter bite to them, so if you don’t care for that then go with an English breakfast instead. Irish tea is pretty strong. The recommended measurement is 1 tsp. For each cup, and steep for 5 minutes. This brew is a little too strong for me. I usually make a 32 oz. pot, so instead of 4 tsp. I use 3.5 tsp, and cut the steep time down to 4 minutes. The great thing about buying loose tea is that in addition to getting the better quality tea than tea bags, you can also adjust the amount of tea you use. I highly recommend this tea, and really any tea that is produced by Harney and Sons. Their teas are top notch, and also they just make tea, no coffee.

This tea is special, fregrant and fresh. Tea should smell when it open it, and the flavor should be floral while it is steeping. This is a sign it is FRESH tea! Yes, it's expensive, but yes, if you drink tea several times a day, it is worth it to be a "good tea". The packaging is o.k. I don't find their self closing to be all that great. We transfer the tea over to a mason style wide mouth jar and keep a tbl scoop in it. The water should be HOT not boiling, and we found for a standard french press it takes two full scoops. Anything less will be weak tea. It holds up well to cream and sugar. One way you know it's a quality tea? The cream should circle around the amber fluid, not just 'milk' it.

This is my go-to every day tea. High quality and delicious. A bit more toasty/malty than English Breakfast.

Good quality and consistent. Have been drinking for several years and though I have tried other teas, this is the best flavor breakfast tea I have found.

Lovely and smooth, simple to make, great with or without cream and sugar. Also had been a fantastic buy I had replaced coffee with it, and was able to purchase double for a great price. Sadly that time has come the last time I bought this it was 20$ now it's 30$, well who needs caffeine anyways lol. I'm sure plenty will say cut budget elsewhere but if it is just going to keep going up by $10 what's the point of hanging in there. Saddest part was it went up after 2 months... I've bought this for years now. Well enjoy, I'm sure making it cost more makes more sells right hahaha. (￣ー￣)

I’ve been using the Harney & Sons Irish breakfast tea since 2016. I recently received a bag of tea that tasted like absolute dirt. When I looked to see how to return it or get a refund, I found out that you cannot return or get a refund for what’s considered a food item. And since I can’t find a way to contact the seller, my only recourse is just to put a negative review. I’ve enjoyed this tea for years, but my last bag tasted terrible. I don’t know what happened with their process, but something is not right. So it looks like I’m just gonna order a new bag and hope it was a one off issue.

Good value, to use, place in a strainer and add hot water. Smooth, rich, nice flavor. Very good if you like black tea.

This has become our favourite breakfast tea. All of the Harney and Sons teas have been nice, but this is the morning tea we love best. Very tasty and strong. Way better than coffee in the morning.

Great flavour and a good price. Hard to find a quality Irish Breakfast tea. This one delivers on the expected flavour.

It is not a bad tea but not perfect either. Not very aromatic - i mean not flavored, but not aromatic black loose tea as it supposed to be. Just OK.
