Contigo West Loop Stainless Steel Travel Mug with AUTOSEAL Lid, 16oz., Stainless Steel/Black

Absolutely love this Contigo West Loop 3.0 Stainless Steel Insulated Travel Mug. The matte black finish looks sleek and premium, and the mug does an amazing job keeping my coffee hot for hours. I’ve also used it for cold drinks and it keeps them cold just as well. The AutoSeal lid is probably my favorite feature because it truly is leak proof. I can toss it in my bag or keep it in the car without worrying about spills. It’s also very comfortable to hold and easy to clean. Overall, this is one of the best travel mugs I’ve owned and definitely worth the money.

This bottle is perfect meaning it's easy to clean and keeps the liquid hot for hours. I would highly reccommend if your looking for an all rounded bottle meaning it keeps liquid hot, easy to clean and with no spills. This was purchased as a gift and it lived up to its name.

Great product! Keeps my coffee and tea hot for hours! I’ve dropped this and haven’t done any damage to the product so I find it completely durable on my end. Size is perfect for multiple cups of coffee or tea. Price was great when I purchased. Perfect for on the go! Contigo is a great brand!

As the title says the fact that I have owned 3 of these travel mugs shows my faith in them and I will tell you why I think they are better than that "other" brand name travel mug in the next paragraph but I think it important you understand my backstory with these mugs. The blue mug in my images is over 7 years old and was used almost every day for those 7 years with either hot or cold beverages. About 4 years ago I wanted a smaller version of this travel mug for specific occasions (mainly hot coffee) so you see that in my images too as basis for comparison between the older versions of these travel mugs and the newer versions. Finally, as you can see in my images the bottom cap of the larger blue mug came off (something they fixed/did away with in the latest model) and I could not get it to back on. Well this cup served me well, so I decided to replace it with the exact same brand of travel mug. When I went to Amazon I saw (in addition to the older versions) they had a new improved larger version which I decided to purchase. What I am telling about this newer travel mug reviewed here also applies to the older (smaller) versions which they still sell on Amazon. I still use my silver one (as seen in my images) as needed. Of Course, it goes without saying these travel mugs keep beverages COLD or HOT for exceeding long periods of time. In fact, you find cautions on the bottom of the mug and the inside of the top of the mug warning that hot beverages can cause burns. Another caution they give you is to leave the lid off the top for a couple of minutes to let hot beverages cool down a little (LoL). I find both hot and cold beverages last that way for longer periods (especially the hot ones) then I want them too. I would like to at least sip on my hot beverage within the 30 minutes LoL. I like (want) the fact that they have no handle. Handles tend to get in the way especially in car cup holders. These mugs are easy to grip and natural to drink from. The actual physical color of the mug means nothing to me. Of course, these travel mugs are high quality and I think all that I have laid out thus far proves that fact above and beyond. Finally, I want to speak to the positive drink lock these travel mugs contain that are absent in most travel mugs. (I would not buy one that did not possess this feature). This is an outstanding feature that if nothing else gives you piece of mind, but I believe it has saved me many times when I have accidently knocked over or dropped the mug. As you can see in my images in the new mug, they have moved this feature from the top of the lid to the side (next to the push to drink button). This is probably more efficient and effective, but I have not seemed to get the hang of it yet and I wish it stuck out a little longer to catch my thumb more easily.

I've had one of these for 5 years with no issues. They work great! I recently purchased another one in Feb. of this year and already the top came apart when trying to wash it. Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to purchase just the top so I guess I'll have to buy a new cup (which I will do). I just wish their shop had a place to buy just the top, otherwise, I love this cup. Keeps coffee hot for hours!

I love my Contigo AUTOSEAL West Loop 3.0 20OZ travel mug! I had another Contigo coffee mug for about 8 years and loved it. Once I needed to upgrade, I jumped on the West Loop and it is great. No leaks so far. Easy to clean. Color (Transparent Berry) is very nice. It feels very solid... I am not nervous about dropping this thing at all. It also keeps my coffee super hot for a long time... which is great! I assume it would be just as good ice I needed to keep things cool. The only things I don't love... -1: It is about 1/8 inch too tall for my Ninja Coffee machine. I need to brew into a different cup and pour it into the West Loop. Or I can bend the coffee machine a little and get it in... but then the mug touches the bottom of the dispensing area, and that feels icky. -2: The lock button (pictured) slips from Unlocked to Locked often. Just carrying it up my stairs with other things under my arms causes this. But I don't think it'll have the opposite issue... going from Locked to Unlocked as that feels much tighter. Even with 1 and 2 above, I love this. But I might consider getting the 16oz when I need to replace this one again in 8 or so years :)

Holds exactly 24oz. Holds temperature better than my Thermos Sipp 16 oz travel mug. Wobbles in a lot of cup holders. Leakproof, but not drip proof. A little bit of liquid collects on the door of the mouthpiece and you have to squeeze the release button and blow it back or it will drip when tilted. Beware: carbonated drinks will release a loud and spray full burst of air and mist in your face if you don’t point it away from you when completely full. Cola all over my face and eyeglasses. Everything cleans well in the top rack of the dishwasher. Paint scuffs occur after a dozen uses. Goes well in a golf bag. Locking feature works with one hand to release. East to drink and still look ahead while driving.

The thin design is just right for a woman's hands to hold, and love the fact that you can seal it so it doesn't leak until you want to release the seal to drink. Drink stays nice and cold, perfect for outside at the pool. It doesn't take up much room and is lightweight, so I packed it for my cruise. Came in handy to have on excursions or beach time!

I have spent many hours researching travel mugs, so I could finally have a leak free hot latte every morning when I commute to work. This was the winner. With this leak free AUTO SEAL mechanism , a Mercedes of coffee mugs. It was expensive too, minimum £25 so I decided to wait an order one on AMAZON US half the price including the delivery . I even ordered extra one for my partner. While I was waiting I bought a budget HIWILL Double Walled Vacuum Insulated Travel Coffee Mug, for ten pounds. I chose the smaller size for my son and was using it while waiting for Contigo. Yes it was too small for a large latte but leak proof and hot for hours!!! When contigo 2.0 arrived it was impressive but heavy. The auto seal works well and it's easy to clean. It's bigger than Hiwill but that's what I wanted, Unfortunately coffee loose the temperature very quickly. Having been using the hiwill I could feel huge difference. No more hot coffee on my desk when I arrive to work. So disappointed....I am considering sending them back , but it will be to US ... UPDATE: After few hit and misses with latte temperature and rinsing the cup with boiling water to make it hot I have no issues with the right temperature for at least 3 hours ! A win!

They are the best in my veiw to have as a coffee cup. The West Loop holds the heat, does not leak at any angle. You can get spare parts for them at a reasonable price. The west loop lid can go in the top shelf of a dish washer but the cup needs to be washed by hand as the colour can come off.
