I’d had a tweezer from this brand and was genuinely impressed with it. When it was time to replace my aging nail clippers, I went to nowhere other than this brand. The result? I regretted it. The small finger nail clipper: I’ve never used any clipper that has my clippings fly out so bad. It looks like this clipper doesn’t have any mechanism stopping the clippers from being ejected in all directions. I used this clipper and my old clipper on the same hand on the same day and the difference is dramatic. After every use I have clippings all over my bathroom, as far as inside my bathtub. Ridiculous. Then, we have the ergonomics issue. The far end of the clipper handle has the “sleek” upwards bend. That part makes it very weird to handle because it bends against the direction of pressing force. And instead of strips for added friction, this one has one circular dimple which helps with nothing. Good luck clipping with wet hands! The nail file: I don’t use files at all so it always stays inside the pouch. Guess what, it rusted. Yes, it rusted without being used for a single time. The pouch has always been sitting in a dry drawer. I understand the bathroom can get humid but nothing else in my bathroom rusts. This file, while not used once, is the only thing that rusts. The pouch: Which genius designed this pouch? When the clippers are stowed, their blades have to face outward. The handles are inside the compartments. They can’t be inserted the other way thanks to the tapered curved shape. The only way to take the clippers out is to hold on to the blades and pull them out. Genius. Sorry, I’m looking for something else.

Sharp and beautifully crafted. Toe cutter a bit slippery for my grip but still a pleasure using it..
